Skelly sloops don't pick up loot brother. The map despawns after a set period of time if it's not placed onto a new table. And all the loot buried in the map despawns when the map does. Treasure donated notifications can pop up for ANYTHING you or another crew place on another crews ship, if you've touched the loot. He was picking up loot and putting it on the rowboat just before that jump cut. It was just him placing their loot back "onto their boat" as a docked rowboat counts as a part of the ship when docked. He also "donated" treasure when he placed their own cannonball crate on the floor after picking it up by accident around 3:28 but the server is so laggy that it takes a couple seconds for the notification to pop up.

He doesn't have much of a choice. He knows how shit the game is. All of us that play it do. Nothing you can do but suck it up and deal with it. Buried loot shouldn't despawn like that, but it does if the map isn't placed onto a new ship table in 10 minutes. It's dumb AF, but just how it works.

Buried treasure doesnt despawn when the map sinks, it despawns after 2 hours, as one guy said, treasure donated at 9:34 is when they probably dug it up. Good vid tho!!

It does in fact despawn. If the MAP sinks, the map despawns. If the map despawns, the loot inside of it despawns. If you were to place the map on an island and wait for it to despawn, it would take 2 hours. Sinking mechanics and natural despawn mechanics are different. Sinking takes 5-10 minutes. When he "donated treasure" at 9:34, he was moving loot to the Rowboat on the back. At 3:28 you can see the same thing happen with a Cannonball Crate, with a delay from the server being so laggy. The jump cut doesn't show him placing loot on the Rowboat, but the vod does.

Buried treasure does not go away if sank, timer doesn't count for those items because they are buried, they give you maps for a reason, so others can steal. in case that wasn't cleared up I solo stacked 30 eye of souls from fleets and I sunk a few times to the fleets, because you can't sail to raid voyages you lose your map, ended with 30 eye of souls, and 2 fort of fortune loots along with a ton of message in a bottle loot, fought many battles but overall never lost anything because it was all buried same island, even server hopping doesn't make your buried treasure go away lmao unless something has change in the past week. and 100 percent someone found the map always throw in water so it despawns or hide it in a bush lmao day late and a dollar short but had to share mostly for my accomplishment lmao

When you’re holding a chest you can’t “sprint swim” faster. Dropping the chest and catching, if timed right, lets you swim faster if you “sprint” in between

Yo any solo players out there? Is this game fun solo? I’ve only watched sum play it very minimally, but damn is pirate shit fun and cool. Idk if this game really supports solo play tho and I don’t have boys to play this type of game with

If you're into pve it can be okay but like most games you might be outnumbered 99% of the time with PvP. the solo ship can be pretty good tho. I've taken out whole crews by myself. just have to play smart and always be on the lookout for other ships.

I played probably ten hours, ran into 3 crews, one duo sloop which I launched onto, killed 3 times each, and sunk em, a solo which I tucked on for like 20 minutes until I killed them and sunk em and a 3 man who just overwhelmed me and destroyed me. Overall pretty fun the environment is just unmatched so def worth it for me
