Crims have to plan to get away from whatever PD might throw at them when they want to do heists. They did their part. It's not their fault if the PD only sends 3 units when they're supposed to operate under the assumption that the city is filled with hundreds/thousands of cops patrolling at all times just like in any other city. Generally people tend to be a little empathetic in these situations (OOC) anyway and go a little easier, even giving more of a chase before going try-hard to escape so that it's more fun for the cops, and that's great. But trying to force the RP where characters to comply with them and restrict themselves just because they're understaffed is ridiculous. Especially when they have guns to hostages heads and the cops tell them they'll gun them down if they don't comply with their demands, and that they can't release the hostages yet. What cop in their right mind would tell a bank robber they have to hold up a hostage for longer when they're offering to let them go free of harm? 🤣 Saying they're going to shoot them regardless like they did is just asking for trouble. From their standpoint as criminals, they might as well just shoot the understaffed cops right there at the bank while using their hostages as human shields at that point. 🤣 Personally, the negotiations make much more sense to me when it's crims setting terms and guaranteeing they won't do certain things that make it harder on police, in exchange for no air one, fewer interceotors etc. They're the ones with the hostages, and in any hostage negotiation the goal is supposed to be negotiating with the criminals to release the hostages safely. Since when do cops hold the criminals and victims hostage until they agree to give them an easy chase? 🤣 They were basically the hostage takers at the end there. Also, it made no sense to shoot at them for letting hostages go safely as soon as they were ready imo. Cars were right there, they could easily get in them and chase, so why shoot? Like dude, they said all they want is free passage amd no spike strips. The cops showed their hand and said they only have three units, so what are the criminals negotiating for at that point? There's already no Air One and only 1 interceptor, there's nothing left for them to bargain for no matter how much the cops want to try and exchange what they don't have for no tunnels 🤣😭🤣 It wouldn't be true to their characters if CG just agreed to that 🤣. They're hardly the types to comply to police demands when they're the ones with the upper hand (hostages), especially after the police just told them there's no backup. They'd be more likely to go for the fire fight. 🤣🤣
