@@MV-ri7zu The vast majority of times that I have seen people get away from interceptors its always been the interceptors mistake and not some crazy play from the getaway driver (baring blocking with trucks or something)

Crims get caught all the time due to simply being out numbered, or out matched in vehicles (interceptors have better speed *and* better handling than most cars I have seen crims driving in chases). This gives the cops quite a bit of leeway with making mistakes while still allowing them to catch up. In a lot of situations Crims have to play near perfectly in order to get away because any minor mistake can mean certain capture, meanwhile Cops can make as many mistakes as they want as long as *someone* still has eyes on the Crims because the Interceptor will *always* catch up. To be clear I am not trying to turn this into an argument, I just wanted to voice my personal opinion. I understand that there are balancing reasons as to way the Cops are allowed to severely out number the Crims, it just seems silly to me to give the cops what is essentially the 007 golden gun of cars on top of all of the other advantages they already have in a chase.

@@kilikx1x imo from the perspective of what someone would call a "crim watcher" who has been watching since the start of 2.0. I think the chase balance is the best it has ever been. Cops were an absolute joke in 2.0 in all aspects and now they are at least a little feared as they should be. However i think the rule of 4 should be raised to 6.

If there was no interceptor wouldn’t they just get away from every chase in 5 seconds? His car is climbing at 160 and the cop cars tend to cap at 135 or so. Like the cops wouldn’t be able to keep up at all
