Competitive cheating skyrocketed since streaming became more accessible w/ the factors of making it into a career and having more remote tournaments. Best solution is obvious make better anti-cheat but really they should blacklist every single one of this dudes.

Yup, its a rat race for views to make money. Most of these guys cheat to appear way better than everyone else to make that happen. Esports/streaming and youtube revenue absolutely corrupted gaming. Better anti cheats might not work because since there is so much money to be made, devs will continually create more advanced cheats/work arounds because the demand increases as so does the money that can be made by it.

Back when online gaming first started you didn't have 100 websites to choose where you were gonna buy cheats from. So I still stand by my statement, yes there has always been cheaters but never to this level of extent.

@@reecewestfall3998 ive said that about csgo for years but all the cheaters are banding together and covering for eachother. We've reached peek cheating imo, it can only get better from here. Misinformation is spreading like wild fire and I know most people cheating are trying to eliminate it as a subject matter EVEN WHEN IT DOESNT INVOLVE THEM. I think the next goal for every community and especially esports is becoming more open about how big of a problem cheating really is. If we let the cheaters talk down to us to shut us up, we wont make any progress in the integrity of esports, and we will be failing eachother. Summit is right, we cant be toxic about the cheating, and we cant be toxic to the cheaters. We have to be smart and precise, because thats what the cheaters are doing, and us being toxic to cheaters is how we got sloppy and stay behind.

They actually do something similar, they have people who work for them acquire these cheats, decipher them, find a specific code in the script to make it detectable by their cheat engines...its a cat and mouse game which is why the cheats need to be constantly updated to avoid detection and same goes for anti-cheat....its extremely costly on both sides

IP bans don’t work most people have dynamic address. Hardware is easy to spoof. This is why I don’t play free to play games it’s a cesspool there’s no repercussions.

Also I’ve played games that are not F2P, CSGO, PUBG, WoW, GTAV, all of the Call of Duty games cost $60 and they come out like every year, point is all of these games are plagued with cheaters and they are not F2P.

@@lilbeartv9039 There sadly really isn’t and the hardware ban bypass comes standard in a lot of cheats too so they don’t even have to be advanced users. It’s easy enough for them to figure out on their own too. Cheating has only gotten worse and worse over the years. The game being free to play is the biggest issue. There’s no consequence to cheating just make another account and carry on. A price tag deters most cheating (not all). If people weren’t so uptight about intrusive anti cheats they could make a really good one but people have a problem with anti cheats digging too deep into their files so it won’t ever happen.

I run into Cheaters ALL the TIME in COD. On PC it the norm if you are 1KD plus player. It is just more subtle today. With all these high hit count games it is very possible to have your aim bot slide under the radar. For the actual good shooters it is mostly not needed. You just need a queue to set up and that's it.
