theres no point if youre not streaming or making content out of it, youll regret putting all that energy into "getting gud" later trust. theres better fps with more opportunity for reward for "getting gud" than dayz. I agree it really is a unique game in terms of movement and play making but you just wont get the bang for your buck getting "gud" at dayz unless you gon stream or make content out of it. If you ARE streamin or cuttin content, Dayz could be one of the best games out there for that shit

I do record my gameplay though and at some point I will probably upload some of the funny interactions. I do have plenty of other games, but none of them give me the interactions with other players or the frustrations and elation of this. Sad as it is, I do still love playing black hawk down too lol

Sour's the man, has been for forever. For DayZ SA, you got 3 main guys, Sour, TRMZ, and Tope. TheRunningManZ is just a great watch, Tope is hilarious and fantastic at PvP, and Sour, Sour is the best of both, plus he has that soothing voice 😅 I still don't understand how he moves and interacts with his inventory so damn fast, he's definitely faster than I am, and he's definitely faster than both Tope and TRMZ....I don't understand it lol

I started playing Dayz on ps4 and got addicted. Every time I got in a fight I’d get insane frame drops and usually die. On PS4 there was only official servers and only the main two maps. Chernarus and Livonia. I hated the performance and wanted to play tarkov so I finally built a pc before deployment. Best decision I ever made. I miss my PlayStation friends though.

@@NiallZom I have 16GB RAM r5 3600 and 1080TI and i play tarky on medium settings, with fps capped at 144, to match my monitor refresh rate(might be resource consuming) shadows must be low, effects same, textures on medium, and draw distance high. You need to see PMC`s better, not details. Foliage as well, low. And secret is the filter. You need to apply a good filter according to the map youre playin`. These helped me, and might not working best for you. And sry for my english. Have a good day sir.

lets be real.. DayZ vids never have unexpected results. they are always the same. If its moded servers = solo start > meet up with crew > make base > raid base and get raided between making a base and raiding a base. If its official then you have more chances or random meet ups. most of the time tho they are always the same. I watch sour because hes an absolute beast.

I'm not asking specifics,obviously, but what kind of servers is he playing on in his videos. I had never played DayZ but then, about a week ago, I came across SourSweet's videos on KZbin and I started watching them. It really piqued my interest in the game and so I recently gave it a try. The problem is I have no idea what kind of server to play on, and the issue I've been having is that the servers I've been on seem to have almost no loot, whatsoever. And I keep finding large buildings that have ,like, these metal jail cell doors that are locked, with barbed wire and stuff. They look like some sort of player made barricades. Also, and this could be just player error, or a "learn to play" issue, but every time I die it has been from starving to death, etc. Or, even if I find apples or pears, et cetera, under some trees and eat those, my blood meter will be empty and I keep going unconscious over and over and I can't get out of it. I'm not actually bleeding though. If I do start bleeding I use bandages, et cetera. It's like my blood meter goes empty from when I was starving? And then I can't figure out how to fill it again. So my character just keeps blacking out, like, every ten seconds. Ok.. I went off on a bit of a rant there. But thanks to anyone that has any tips for me.

I bought dayz on this summer sale and played for like 50 hours, tried official servers many times and every time i get into server after 2 hours of "looting" all i find is clothes, box of nails and car batteries, if i will get lucky i might find some shotgun (without ammo ofc) and then i die to zombie or from hunger while trying to find some ammo for it. and here i see this guy finding like 6 guns and almost everything you need like its fckin pubg. i am new player in dayz and i don't know a lot of stuff so , don't wanna say anything bad about this game coz i like it, but watching this makes me kinda F up.

You should always be aware of the fact that the coast towns are nearly always looted, because that's just logical. People are spawning there all the time, so you have to be lucky with the spawn timer.
