for the editor: 12:06 = second orange (name of the spot where the CT is positioned). first orange would be behind those blue barrels closer to site entrance. names come from older versions of inferno where both of those spots were boxes of oranges instead of barrels.

Summit we love you and if you're dedi you're definitely capable of getting back to a pro level, but why do you (or more likely, your editor) keep titling these videos "Pro play" when it's just Main. Even *I've* played several seasons of Main and Main is far from pro, as are almost all of the people I played with, AND against in Main lol. I know Pro is the goal, but it's just kinda weird calling THIS "Pro." A better term would be "competitive" or "league competition" imo.

Summit’s movement is what’s holding him back in my opinion, as well as understanding the new meta. At his level these two things are so important, and I feel like I see him walking forward more than he should be, which means he’s getting caught off guard a lot

I haven't played or watched CSGO since like 2017, getting back into it now with the announcement of CS2. Help me out; what is the "new meta" you're talking about ? I'm keen to hear what has changed :)
@jfkshotfirstclips1405
@jfkshotfirstclips1405 Жыл бұрын
@@alexkfridges Just the fact that the game has changed new smokes new lineups new ways to play almost every team nowadays is as good as the teams were back in 2013-2018 where everyone is just ready to trade eachother and has really good team play to be the best team you have to constantly be pracing almost no social life. Summit could do very well as long as he realises he isn't the same as he was a few years ago and has to put in time and effort and not give up on his team, he'll start winning matches if he can change that overnight if not then there is always next esea season and other comps
@denen404

@@alexkfridges It is a whole lot more coordinated now even in the lower ranks. I started back in 2018 and didn't play from about 2020-2022 and the change even in those years at lower levels was noticeable let alone from 2017.

I get why summit s down on himself, but he had to have known going into this journey that it was going to be tough. He was going to be at a huge disadvantage to try to catch up to the evolving state of pro play. This isn't 2015 anymore, the game and eSports is so refined that you need to be obsessed with CSGO to get good at it again. Hope summit sticks through this if he's serious about competing.

His team needs more callouts, and accurate ones at that. None of this "I dinked one Middle!" on a map that has 2 different middles. I'm seeing very little map knowledge, No ping usage, 2 guys holding the same angle when it should be one. Summit had the right idea asking the team to practice on a map, but the team needs more than that because they are obviously new. Map knowledge is a must, you can't just play ESEA and not play *some* casual and run AIMLAB at least once a day. Summit also seems to be on edge because he isn't sure about his teams capability, this could be fixed by playing casual with his team so they can get used to eachothers gameplay. Scrims aren't everything!

Cool to see Summit on the grind again. I just hope it doesn't burn him out like things have in the past. Genuinely pursuing professional ANYTHING is vastly different than just "playing the game" (obvious statement), but I mean... so much so that its almost an entirely different game. Logging on, getting kinda sweaty and goofing off with the boys and randos is fun.... but 100% different than finding a team, sitting down for multiple hours and planning strats, then trying those strats, re-evaluating strats, re-trying strats, looking at past games, practicing what went wrong, etc etc. Really hope he makes it through, if anything its super entertaining to watch

This team wont accomplish anything and none of the players will do anything in "pro play" this is just something to scratch a competitive itch, basically like your regular faceit game that has a bit more comms and meaning. The problem is the players aren't that good,summit included. Probably not even global and the fact that summit clowns on himself then immediately goes on WoW on stream for 10 hours straight instead of grinding more Go shows its just for fun

It feels like this is a goofy streamer montage but what I want to see is things that help me understand the ESEA progression like an eSport at the beginning (an overview) then as the video progresses, key rounds and highlights of the scoreboard. I like summits gameplay, hes skilled. As teams swap etc. I just want to be able to keep track of score and watch vanilla gameplay. Cheers.

gonna pause rn. the old style of having everyone at the server to figure out what to do is so outdated and a horrific method to use. it should be like 2 core guys coming up with the basic plans, showing it to everyone and then the guys that share a position, they go thru shit they could use during the game to switch shit up. that way the schedule on training that stuff is way more flexible, every individual can come up with a thing on their own and show a teammate that is there with him. site hits on t side go the same, 2 guys coordinate what to do and then just show it, dry run. when everything is drilled out so you have like 3 things on t side and the basic plan with co-op style shit on ct side down rly well, u expand
