Federalism is the best form of government we've invented (not democracy, which is minority oppression by the majority, kinda slaveryish if you think about it.) Federalism produces a marketplace of government, so that when one government starts producing better services, more people move there and that government gets the money. To the best of my knowledge, Switzerland is the only federation left, but federalism is what allowed America to innovate it's immense wealth. (Not republicanism, not democracy.) Just LIVING in America puts a person in the top 25% wealthiest people in the world, even if they are homeless. If you have a full time minimum wage job, you're in the top 1% of the world. But America hasn't had a market in 100 years, it's been growing increasingly fascistic and both the "left" and "right" are to blame. Corporatism isn't a free market, Mussolini correctly identified corporatism as socialism, the only difference is the title of the person at the top of the authoritarian monopoly. America is bankrupt. It's wealth generation is slowing while others have been growing. Geography is decreasingly important. We've been living off the economic momentum of a free market that no longer exists for 100 years (we get the intellectual talent cause we have the money, we get the money because we attract the intellectual talent, but technology is changing that and markets that are more free such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Shenzhen, are attracting the talent and we be the most magnetic talent attracters of the next decades.) The future is amazingly bright, but that brightness in the west is failing. The west has become soft and entitled relative to much of the rest of the world. Free market principles, supply and demand, are immutable with today's technology. People unhindered by fear of violence and oppression ALWAYS produce more wealth and help those in need more. Always. ✌
