Yeah I never waste points on shape-shifting with a summoner, you are much better off putting those points into wind for the additional cc, and damage resist.

I found 5 points for Shockwave, Lycanthropy, and prereqs feels pretty worth. Doubles your hp and gives access to a ~5 second aoe stun.

Do things like magic find and crushing blow work when the summons are hitting and killing or does the druid actually have to hit and kill itself for those to proc?

The Druid has to actually hit for crushing blow to work. The exception is the merc. If the merc has crushing blow it works.

Allready did this if u wanna go summons might as well go necr yah there some power here but once u hit 8 player even with a beast and pride just don't really cut it aok for 4 or 5 players max that's all

You could proc fade with treachery and then swap his armor to bramble. Add thorns aura to your summons, fantacism, and use LW/Lawbringer on act 5 merc. So, you have might, fantacism, and thorns on your summons. While procing decrep. It's disgusting especially if you use Tele stomp with enigma.

Runeword Brand is amazing in chu-ko-Nu for summoner build, i think thats best you can have, i was clearing pit at p7 with it

@@Oxmosh Max Ravens first they are your main Damg then the bear the other you just put so much points that you get the max ammouth of summons. After you maxed Raven and Grizzly you can Max out the other 2 two skills how you want....

Amplify Damage doesnt reduce physical resistance nor break physical immunities... it just apmlify all non magic damage by 100%. Decrepify does that, but only 50%.

They need to add a unique ring sold at Akara that gives +1 teleport and nothing else. So many builds are annoying to play until you can afford enigma, especially summoners.

I disagree on the merc , for your summons to be efficient you need at least : might + concentration aura from pride and fana aura from beast and lvl 20 heart of the wolverine. And at least 7 summon skillers . For the phys some of the wolves do cold dmg

that’s just insanely expensive stuff for not so much effect. you have to account for the fact that the ravens (which will be the hardest hitters among all summons) don’t benefit from any aura. but they do benefit from decrepify or amplify damage

Merc: Reapers toll? Blessed Aim? or might? Skills: Max: shockwave/Maul/Grizzly/Dire wolf HOA-5 to 10 points for life since you wont use CTA or HOW for more AR since you will need more AR What you think if you dont mind me asking? the shockwave bug just seems too nice to pass

@@dontew90 its a very good build that can make you farm anywhere . So for the rings instead of going two bk's , do one bk and one 10 fcr ring so u reach the 99 fcr breakpoint of the bear druid .as for the swap , shapeshifting druids take better advantage of two handed weapons , best in slot are : breath of the dying on an eth great poleaxe , Or for higher players counts and act boss killing my personal favourite is a high ed eth ribcracker upped and zoded(50%cb and more consistent dps than ebotd) . As for the armor i recommend u using chains of honor to help you cap your res. Now for the ar do not worry too much the more you hit the more your ar and life leech increases with maul , but i suggest you still put one point into how and use ar mx dmg scs. And the stun duration of shockwave is nuts so you will have time to hit them several times before they recover anyway . Also put one point into your pet summons so u have extra tankiness and avoid being surrounded . For the merc a reapers toll with a 15 ias jewel , treachery and any life leech helmet so he casts decrepify as often as possible and help you deal with physical immunes . Its really a well rounded build and one of the funniest to play with, much better than a pure zookeeper druid

Thats crazy a decked out act 5 merc can easily do 7-9k dmg with eth botd or eth lastwish cb, plus the chance to crit and crushing blow from stats . Heck a act 2 merc with decked out gear and ebotd pike can easily do 10-11k dmg. These act 3 buffs was a nice change but their still garbage, should make the damage 2.5x and give them a base - 80 to enemy rez.

This is strange hybrid build - but certainly not anything close to the "Summoner Ultimate Druid guide" you are more focused on crushing blow-- Agree its not going to be the fastest build but its very good with Beast and Engima for telestomping. Very good for solo and hardcore. You basically said the summoning mode is not playing the game. Also Function keys as your binds? Kinda a joke... 3/10 guide at best.

@@OGHawkeye Well that's their problem, not yours lol but even so I don't think what you're saying applies to this particular video. A summon Druid, as stated in the video, is not an end game build and thus requires little investment. Even though we have 2 decades of experience, this new patch did bring some new things and builds we would never have done before. Tbh I don't even know what gear is best for a summon druid because I'd throw that crap out usually. Furthermore a new ladder means starting out with zero gear. Helps to keep an eye out for certain things you normally wouldn't keep an eye out to help out other builds.
