Love the fact that Guga used the oven. If you aren't doing a BBQ competition, once the smoke is done, finish the meat in the oven. Heat is consistent, a stall won't happen, and you save pellets/wood. Love the mango trees, which reminds me of an uncle's farm with so many fruit trees and I would just walk around picking fruit and eating. Very fun episode!

The oven has nothing to do with a stall happening or not. Getting past the stall is one reason why we wrap. Unwrapped meat can stall no matter what it is cooked on. Aside from that, the oven is a good place to finish a wrapped BBQ meat. The only caveat is that your house will smell like BBQ for at least 24 hours.

Sumo traditionally eat a meat stew called "chankonabe" in Japanese...you can get it at some Japanese restaurants in the States, and once you try it, it's easy to see how you could get to the size of a sumo wrestler. That stuff is gooooood. But even sumo need some variety in their diet, and that's where Guga comes in.
