@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery i had to have my truck towed by another company, it was the biggest one we had, i got up early in the morning to go do a tow, came to a stop sign around the corner from my house, and no brakes, that will wake you up, im glad it was fairly flat, i just let off the throttle untill i was going slow enough to use the park brake gently, and put it in low and crept around the corner, had to call the police and cancel, im glad i didnt live in the hills yet

I'm a retired first responder firefighter. You guys who operate these massive wreckers are priceless second responders. We, in the fire and police service rely more on you guys than is openly stated. Prior to my firefighter days I was a construction worker, a crane rigger for a pre-stressed concrete company to be exact. That background was a plus in getting on the department. I'm wondering if the larger companies who do what you do offer EMT training along with first responder Haz-Mat certification. I got my Haz-Mat certification thru Georgia Tech's extension program in the early 90's in Atlanta. I realize that your job does not require you to solve or eliminate the situation, but it does prepare you for what to look for and how to protect yourselves against exposure. I retired as a Fire Investigator, a position I held for my last 15 years. A substantially high resume can equal higher pay rewards. God bless you all and be careful out there.

Nice Recovery Mr Hal and Shane. That 35 ton had 0 chance of pulling that out by it's self. Kinda funny I was saying at 42.10 Mr Hal slide that trailer over and just a few seconds later that is what you did. Lol Any idea how much weight that trailer had in it?? Shane said the winch was bogging down, that's what you want it to do. It's telling you it's at it's max. Some operators like to rev the engine up to make it pull more and that's when winches, chains and cables start breaking. I'm sure you know this already. Great job guy's. Stay safe out there...
