Respect from China, the citizens of Sumy show us what true patriotism is, loving your homeland, loving your family and friends and fighting for it. Fighting for a dictator is not patriotic, it is evil and an accomplice to the devil. It brought tears to my eyes, and I saw a group of people who were brave enough to defend their way of life. I hope that my country, my people, will one day acknowledge all the wrongs we have done and prove to the whole world that we belong to the free world family. This is the story of ordinary citizens who, under the threat of a vastly superior invading army, took up arms to defend their country and it's citizens. Ukrainians have become an inspirational example to the whole world and it's very important that these stories are filmed, recorded and archived. This is a excellent documentary about the defense of the Ukraine city of Sumy by local civilians some with military experience. I would highly recommend watching this documentary and I would like to point out that the English dubbing was well done.

If you notice mistakes in translation with the words “the” and “a” it is because Ukrainian and Russian (the translator’s native language or the language of whoever wrote the translation out) have no articles like “the” or “a”. A fair amount of Russians/Ukrainians who have learned English will make mistakes with these two words because there are no equivalents to them in Russian/Ukrainian.

In 2016 I was working in Florida and ran into a woman who had an accent and I asked her where she was from and she said Ukraine!...so I said oh wow it's dangerous over there right? she looked at me like I was crazy and said no why would it be dangerous? I said hello! Russia invaded their country and started war over there! ...she told me I didn't know what I was talking about and I started to get mad and was like are you kidding me!! I seen it with my own eyes!!! Anyway I couldn't exactly argue with her about it at the time especially since I needed to get on her property to do my job when I did get in her yard I seen where someone took a bucket of red paint and threw it at the foot of her door!... After the invasion in 2022 I have always been suspicious of that woman and her husband!

There are no words. I think the population of the countries that are extremely comfortable and feel secure would benefit a great deal from watching this.
