No matter how many times I have heard it, the fact that some of the most forward units spearheading the invasion of another country were carrying parade uniforms, medals, and police equipment is still so fucking insane to me.

The controlling the narrative is so strong in the pulin diktatashit that they really beleive they were going to get a heros welcolme but if you think sbout it why wouldnt they think this it was all sudo police goons in the Demonstration of Dignity and The Reveolution in 2013/2014 They came fro. rus military with police issue metal body armour so they thought that was how it would be again Big Mistake Glory and Freedom for Ukraine 🇺🇦 ++

Was this because they assumed Ukraine would fold immediately? It's hard to believe the Russians were so naive.
@1Smooth1
@1Smooth1 Ай бұрын
@@Doug.the.welderRussians are not naive. They are poorly trained and have no heart. They don’t want to fight and don’t believe in the War. The fact they invaded a small and relatively weak country, which at the time of invasion had little to defend themselves and could not finish the job; puts Russia at the bottom of most powerful countries. They outmanned, had more arms, and better technology. Now all Putin is doing is forcing his people further into War, which isn’t going well for Russia. Russia looks horribly awful. Russias only hope is for Ukraine to lose Western support or a peace treaty. I don’t think Ukraine will give up and it will be a long stalemate with Russia trying to grind out Ukraine Even if Ukraine gives up, Russia looks stupid. U.S. can easily go in and eliminate Russia within a year or so.

Thank you for this excellent report and especially for the flawless English narration. This is the story of ordinary citizens who, under the threat of a vastly superior invading army, took up arms to defend their country and it's citizens. Ukrainians have become an inspirational example to the whole world and it's very important that these stories are filmed, recorded and archived. Not just for historical reasons but as a tribute to those brave souls who lost their lives during this heroic defence. 'They shall not grow old, as we who are left grow old. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.' Slava Ukraini, heroyam slava.

God bless the brave people of the Ukraine! "No one knew to what extent people would unite. How much people would be ready to pick up a weapon and simply fight for their lives, for the lives of their loved ones, their relatives. It's just unreal and to defend for our city itself and this is precisely the factor that the armed forces did not consider. In their manuals, there are no paragraphs where people just pick up weapons and fight for their country".

If you notice mistakes in translation with the words “the” and “a” it is because Ukrainian and Russian (the translator’s native language or the language of whoever wrote the translation out) have no articles like “the” or “a”. A fair amount of Russians/Ukrainians who have learned English will make mistakes with these two words because there are no equivalents to them in Russian/Ukrainian.

They deserve their freedom and the safety of their homes and families and are willing to die for it. Freedom will be that much sweeter when they win this war and the admiration of the world. About 10 minutes in as I'm watching this footage, I'm reminded by a story I heard. I don't know if this was something that happened in World War II, or if the country still does it to this day, but either Switzerland or Sweden does something kind of cool. It's similar to The US having a right to bear arms, but it's taken one step further where every single household is trained as beginner fire arm carriers and then actually given a gun. As in, every arms capable bearing citizen in the entire country has a gun and knows how to use it. I'm sure that it subsidized to an extent, you know, discount purchasing, bulk purchasing. Hmm, cool.
@pidinik
@pidinik 4 ай бұрын
This is Switzerland afaik. With this system they have in place, together with their massive fortifications across the entire country, the country is one huge fortress. The point is that if something happened, all those people are not just already trained during their military service but have most if not all of their gear at home and they know precisely where to go, who to link up with to get their further orders. This basically entirely skips the initial phase where you first have to hand out those weapons and organise people into units and only then can get into action - they already have all that and can go straight to their objectives.

There are no words. I think the population of the countries that are extremely comfortable and feel secure would benefit a great deal from watching this. I think if Mike Johnson, had the backbone of anything other than a fucking jellyfish, saw this maybe he would understand the importance of taking the vote on Ukraine aid. But im afraid hes fully aware of the atrocities and is to much of a cowatd to make the correct choices. As an American, this broke my heart and hurt my feelings knowing the American people are standing with you (despite what the media says) but a small group of suit wearing cowards are blocking our true intentions. Evil never wins in the end. Never

It is difficult for me to understand how so many people in my own country do not support these brave people. Much respect for all those who joined the fight to defend their own cities, their own homes, their own families. Ukraine has my support and prayers.

You mean work for Nato and their puppet masters? No freedom of speech in UKR is why you see it from the propaganda perspective. Unless you are speaking of Russia speaking people, then yea, fuck yea, they are fighting for their land and their culture.

These people are absolute warriors. I am an older man with very little $ and almost no family. I would go and fight in Ukraine in a heartbeat if it was possible. My life for a child's regardless of who that child is..
