Copying this from my reply to your comment on Daniel's post: Christopher, your series made me realize my love of prose. Before your series I really just read Sci Fi and Fantasy, and even in that realm I had read some great prose (Dune, LOTR), but for some reason I didnt really realize that prose was so important to me, maybe because they were just much older books. Because of your series i have gone in search of books with beautiful prose and have now read a huge range of literature from Frankenstein to Lonesome Dove to Hemmingway to Dostoevsky to now working through Cormac McCarthy books. All very different, but all have been great reads and have made my love for prose grow even more. And going back and re reading your work, the prose holds up with the best of them. Thank you for inadvertently getting me into classic literature, and for writing this series. I have been told as a fan of prose, and of your series i must read Gene Wolf, and so that is next on my list.

Man, Chris, thank you. I'm glad the books helped open a door.

I’m almost done Kingdoms of Death, it’s fantastic. I listen to it in the car on my commute to work/daycare drop off. My youngest toddler may or may not speak a few Cielcin words… it’s hard to tell as his English isn’t quite there yet either. 😂 Hats off to you for writing this phenomenal series and to Samuel Roukin for such a great and engaging audiobook narration. I can’t wait to add all the physical books to my library once the series is wrapped up. Edit: fixed my typos!

I was bummed out that I could not attend your event in New Hampshire -- a fairly last minute change in plans prevented me from doing so. I hope you had a nice visit to the Northeast and maybe I'll catch you at one of your events someday in the future. For now, I'm really enjoying "Demon In White" and looking forward to reading book 4!

Wait what are the Lesser Devil revisions? I just started the audiobook on my current reread of the series. Is anything big changing?

As I said on the stream, the manuscript has a lot of typos. The revised text is cleaned up.

@@SunEaterBooks Thanks for the reply, I did write that comment before I got to that part I thought it was Stream Chat and didn't realize it had ended while I was watching. Really appreciate the Q&A's and your wonderful books. The foreshadowing in Empire of Silence is wonderful, when I first read the story it was easy to miss the gravity of some of them and is now really fun to catch them and go "Aha! I know all about this bit now!" So much fun.
