Totally cool - The tint looked far from flat yet it installed great. I've been trying to shrink on a curved rear window on a big Ford Crown Vic and have been making the mistake of trying to get it perfectly flat.

Susan Vue I was thinking the same thing, bet some fingers crept up after the video stop rec. Lol. even though those are pretty flat windows I would always hard card the film flat. like to see him do that on Saturn or jaguar rear. 😂😂😂

At least this guy tries to protect the interior. I've seen other tutorials where they are throwing water about all over the place.

good to know that the tunt doesn't have to be completely flat. just get the fingers out, but I'm still having trouble with mirrored tint

Out of 10's video on the ytube, only video with the guys providing some protection to interior and rear seat. Kudos. Otherwise, just dripping soapy water all over the seats and even on the speakers, without any care!

there was alot of things, can't really say wrong cause obviously the install worked but way better ways to dry shrink and this guy did and didn't do things that should be taught. I've worked many times with sun gaurd films, it's not bad film but can be quirky when shrinking if your not paying attention. good video but like i said definitely things that should have been taught that are good knowledge and can make things easier, but all in all good install and good vid.

knightgangsta Johnson and Johnson. lol. any baby powder will work but its always messy, other methods to dry shrink that work jus the same if not better.

great video ! looks very difficult. i think your video is reference until i saw 10:14. that looks way more difficult than the roll together method from artisticwd here on youtube. other than that, i like your technique better.

What temp does the heat gun need to be to shrink the film the best?
@heatguns217 жыл бұрын
You want that on high .. the hottest setting u got ... I use the Milwaukee digital heat gun I think it was 300$ been a few years since i had it .. I only use Milwaukee guns because the heat is consistent all others I have used suck they are not consistent at all ... Buy a good gun you will see the difference ... I also shrink using a torch with mapgas .. can shrink a back window in 2 minutes lol... any way hope this helps ....
