Hey CA B, great question mate, because we are using it as a surfactant- any shampoo could be used, baby shampoo is recommended because its is relatively clear, neutral pH, and doesn’t negatively impact the adhesives in the film like a detergent may. Best of luck🤙 Kent

When I installed mine a few years ago, I didn’t even realize that there was a removable film so I ended up putting it on with the tint side facing the window and the removable film facing towards the inside of the room. It still stayed on there and sealed properly, and when I wanted to remove it, it came off with no issues. I’m sure that it was not intended to be installed this way, but it seems like film still worked just fine. Just another idea on getting tinting that is easier to remove since you mentioned that in your video. Anyway, thanks for the great videos! I’m going to install some more soon so I wanted to brush up on how to do it when I came across your videos. Great content!

Tape to split is awesome! Also, if you roll up the tint inside out, separate just the too & spray the sticky side a bit & roll back up (tighter) the backing sticks to the outside film & just pulls off. I don't know how to explain it well, but it's a game-changer!

Hey Patricia, the shampoo/water mix is mainly there to help with repositioning and then removing bubbles with a squeegee. I’ve never attempted window tinting without it - but have found if I don’t spray enough then the film sticks straight away and is not forgiving at all. Best of luck, Kent

I'm soooooo confused, in my paper instructions nowhere (or in your video) does it say anything about soapy water , paper instructions don't say anything about scraping windows...only says spray with water and apply to window, peel film...im frustrated...even your instructions don't explain it well

MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CORRECT SIDE! Don’t be like me! “Boy that sure is clear, almost like there’s nothing on at all!”
