I want to thank you for highlighting the good/pros of this placement and the 12th house. I think that a lot of people tend to see signs/houses as either good or bad and not both, but especially researching the 12th house I've seen so many people only talk about the negative side of it and it's refreshing to also learn about the positive side of this house.

Cancer ♋ sun in 12th house and I'm the cancer /pisces decan too which I guess just adds to all of that watery energy! I also have chiron, jupiter, mercury and Gemini all in the 12th! People can't relate to me on the level I crave, I think we feel so much we don't even know how to express it. I absorb emotions easily and just know when something doesn't feel right. I have a very soft voice that people always compliment and say I should be recording meditations etc 😂 I love creativity, fashion, beauty, cooking and music is my escape... Also weirdly I've felt like I sing differently when I'm alone than when I'm in front of people... We hide our talents! Astrology is also a big thing for me, but I have so many different interests it's difficult to focus on one particular thing at a time. I definitely feel like I drown in my emotions at times and that men don't take me seriously! I have to fight harder to have my boundaries respected.

I have Leo in 12th house and I’m a Leo sun, Venus, and Jupiter (Happy Leo season btw) so I feel like the Leo larger than life thing offsets that meekness you’ve talked about, especially having Leo in its home in the sun and in such dramatic planets like Jupiter and Venus. But the 12th house aspect has completely heightened my creativity and spirituality, I do feel incredibly lucky. Obviously my chart has a some harder aspects (many squares, especially to my moon, Neptune and Uranus in the 6th house) but my Leo 12th house stellium is something that I’m super happy I’ve gotten

☀️ in ♊️ . Resonated with a lot, from the creative energy to mental health issues. Counselling is super great for 12th house energy for sure. I definitely feel the isolation part in feeling separate from everyone, like there’s glass or something between me and others. Even close friends, it’s just an indescribable feeling of loneliness and because of that frustration I do tend to isolate myself a lot. The whole situation for the last few months bothered me very little being a 12th house person - suited me just fine lol. As for the addictive tendencies, I’m personally okay with limiting alcohol for myself, but compulsive/escapist daydreaming cut into my life a lot when I was younger and I had to put that in check. Also think this placement has to do with my father too - generally bad news, mostly absent from my life growing up and works in the prison service of all places, couldn’t be more on the nose. I personally feel like I’m not the worst with discernment- just because I have placements adding in some caution towards others, thankfully.

Why is "Sun in the 12th House" considered as the same energy/similar to "Leo on the 12th House Cusp"? a) - Does "Leo on the 12th House Cusp" have to be cusping from the 11th house on the higher degrees or Leo in the 1st house on lower degrees? b) - Or does it mean that "Leo on the 12th house Cusp" is the same as "Leo in the 12th House"? c) - Why does The Sun (as a planet) have the same meaning/importance as Leo (as a sign cusping)? What is the difference then to having "Leo in 12th" and "Sun in 12th" and "Leo CUSP in 12th".
