My Strymon Lex Leslie pedal is used in stereo here into my two amps- 1965 bassman and 1974 pro reverb. The lex is on a slow speed setting, mic distance at 11 o clock, horn level at noon, preamp drive at 9 o clock

I’m sorry but the riff of sun king is played wrong. An A6 chord on the 5th fret needs to be played, which is in this case an E6 shape chord played 5 frets higher so with your medium finger on the 7th fret of the A string (and with the high E string open). I think this is also confirmed by the fact that the three-chord progression at the end of the verse sounds best if you play the same A6 chord, followed by a Bb6 and a B6 chord, and then getting back on the capo fret with an E6 chord which ends the whole riff

It’s the 5th note that you pick during each bar - you’re picking the same note there as that of the 2nd note picked, but it should be the same note as the 3rd note that you pick. (Sorry - I am a guitarist but I’m all by-ear and don’t know the names of all the notes). I’m a fan of your reconstructions and I know you have a great ear, and strive for authenticity.
