I used one of the sofa pillows and put it on the floor in front of the bedside night stand to block the light sensor. Easy peasy.

Thanks for this video. Our family (ages 7 to 75) are looking to go on this ship. Have you seen kids on this ship and do you think they will enjoy? My parents (age 75) go on Princess often and is suggesting this ship for the family. We have only taken our kids on Royal so we are bit hesitant if they will enjoy this ship.

We always bring the little battery operated tea lights and put one in the bathroom (cruise or hotel etc.. ) ... great for late night "mapping".

This is actually one of the first look rounds that I've had of a cabin on Sun Princess. I cannot understand why cruise lines are now fitting these annoying lights (and even lights that light up when they're not on, ha!). I'm just off Queen Anne, and had post-it notes everywhere to avoid the little lights annoying me, haha!

It’s bonkers isn’t it. They should at least have a switch to turn the auto lighting off for those that don’t want it. Instead we’re all sticking stickers everywhere 🙈

Thanks for the video! 2 questions, did you by chance see hdmi outlets on the tv or tried to stream to it? I’m a sucker for K dramas on Netflix and would love to have an option of watching on a bigger screen. And, was it noisy below with the open private section for the 9th floor guests? My room will also be on the 11th but a little further down. Thanks.

Painters Tape is the best to use. Not real sticky and works perfectly. I carry a roll with us when we cruise especially on Princess as they are so concerned with our safely, falling the in the dark, they have these horrible lights that come on automatically. Guess they don't realize people have small flashlights or like us a Gear Fit Watch that lights up is we touch it on the side!
