Sun Temple Is Getting a COMPLETE REWORK! (BTD6)

I think a neat system would be that instead of having max sacrifices for each category and arbitrary category limits they just gave the temple a total maximum sacrifice value of say $200k. Then what bonuses you get would depend on the proportion of the money spent in each category. So you could do $100k military sacrifice, $50k support sacrifice, $40k primary sacrifice, and $10k magic sacrifice or you could just go all in with $200k into a single category.

That’s an interesting idea! It sort of makes each one like a distinct “God” of local monkey religions that have different characteristics based on those who worship it, so support category towers create that of a God of support. In addition to this, it opens up two possibilities regarding the True Sun God: The VTSG could instead be adapted into a sort of paragon for the tower, maybe give it some effects from the other paths too, but the current Monkey Knowledge for VTSG could be adapted in a new way, instead allowing you to COMBINE sun temples that are maxed in each category into a single temple. So, similarly to the current form, where “there can only be one” tier 5 super monkey, this could be that “there can only be one” Sun God, so when buying the True Sun God temple, it will absorb the donations made to OTHER temples on the screen, letting the True Sun God surpass the limits of regularly getting it.

Realisitcally now that Paragons exist, the only Temple that matters is the support temple. I do not expect that to change. Well, I guess Vengeful Temple too but that one is too much of a pain in the butt to make

you can only get 1 paragon of each type, you can get a top of temples. Temples aer used in super lategame freeplay alongside paragons, paragons are only really super op in bosses, the only one that is absolutely busted in freeplay is ninjagon, the rest are just good damage dealers

They should add like a sacrifice ability or slider, right now they can buff it all they want but you’re almost never going to sacrifice below 50k on purpose unless you are strictly getting support temple, if you could get a weak temple and slowly build it up that’d be cool

I actually like the idea of limiting the sacrifices to two catagories, I just think Primary and Military both need some heavy buffs because otherwise you would always go Magic and Support

I feel Temple cost should be 80k and Sacrifices tiers should be reduced by 30% so Max sac is 30k would help so much. Then TSG sac tiers are doubled in cost to 100k for max BUT its tiers are stronger but get buffed with sacs from Temple sacs

i feel like the Supermonkey is in such a weird spot right now. TSG/VTSG is far too costly and focus-heavy for what it does, considering Paragons exist now, and cost a lot less for far more output and far less setting up. Anti-Bloon just.. isnt comparable to late game Paragon damage, not even close. and Legend of the Night outperforms Anti-Bloon now, so if youre using Supermonkey and not going for VTSG, then you should just pick LotN. except LotN also isnt comparable to late game Paragons, yet its upgrades cost almost a combined total of one Paragon upgrade on many towers. i dont know, i just started playing a month ago so i dont have years of wisdom, it just.. does not feel worth it to me when going for literally any number of ultra powerful towers. hopefully this rework fixes that

Tbh, historical the temple has always been the elite best tower. They should add an option, to sacrifice paragons to the true sun god. Each paragon giving it unique abilities based on the level. Because honestly the temple has always been the ultimate tower, think it's sad paragons outclassing it. Yet, paragons definitely have their place. Paragon sacrifices, would highlight both the temple and paragons.

@kunai9390 I like it, Temple is all about sacrifices, paragons only interact with other paragons. Paragon Temple gets to be the best of the best again, while using paragons abilities rather than just having outshining them.
