Natural disasters are increasing rapidly. We all need to be prepared to face them. Learn what to do in different disasters, prepare emergency evacuation backpacks, and at least a week's supply of food and water in case of a loss of electricity, water and heating. But the most important thing everyone needs to do now is to start talking openly about our biggest problem - climate and the true cause of its change - 12,000-year cosmic cycle. All the details and solution on how to avoid the demise of the planet and all of humanity are voiced here: "Global Crisis. The Responsibility"

River surveying and dredging is not being done. My husband used to pilot the Medway Survey boat, but when the contract was sold by Peel Ports to Briggs maritime, they simply did not fulfill the contract. They disbanded the survey team and the work but still took the money. Anyone local knows the rivers and creeks have not been dredged. The reporter is correct. Probably the same shenanigans going on in Trent too

My daughter gets flooded and can’t get insurance as has flooded before. These people should be covered by a government insurance as a lot of the government gave permission to build on these sites. In the good old days you would have rivers, canals etc all managed to a high standard, but due to cut backs this can’t happen. I am not saying it will solve the problem but a new farmer in our area cleans the water ways regularly , which we still have flooding but not to the extent of before. It maybe time to have a greater understanding of our drainage system.

China had this problem too but instead of blaming climate change, they realised that drains from 4 major populated areas were re-directed to this one rural (ghetto) area. Basically for the rich to have feet dry, the poor had to be sacrificed.

In 2023, the destruction on the planet reached a new level. The world was shaken by devastating and abnormal earthquakes, a huge number of red auroras in unusual places, abnormal heating of the ocean, Category 5 hurricanes, wildfires covering half the planet, rivers and lakes massively disappearing, droughts changing with large-scale floods, volcanoes becoming active. Over the last 30 years, the climate has changed catastrophically. The cause of this is the cosmic cycle of 12000 years. The same changes are happening now on all planets of the solar system. From the end of 2024, the number and scale of natural disasters will increase many times over. And if we do nothing now, it will be impossible to live on the planet in 5-7 years. And not later than 2036 catastrophe will occur, which will turn the Earth into a planet like Mars. We still have a chance to save the planet and humankind. The analytical report and ways to solve the problem are voiced here: "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" (online forum).

The idiots in charge need to do there jobs and dredge the bloody rivers. Ditches run to streams, streams run to rivers, rivers run to the sea. All the years past and present have shown that dredging the rivers of our lovely country had stopped years ago and now we are seeing the results of ignoring the past, this country has the equipment to dredge our rivers and make them much deeper and nature will just carry on as normal, by dredging the rivers removes tons of silt buildup over the years and increases the depth and also allows more rainfall to go into the rivers as they are mostly the lowest point in towns and villages, so now we are seeing what the river authorities have ignored.

Even though he had many faults, Mr Johnson had the common sense and political savvy to go to any place that got flooded or had any other disaster hit it. If it was good enough for the King and Queen of England and Mr Churchill to tour the bombed out cities during the war, then it should be good enough for any politician.
