malzeno moveset is so interesting for me, because its look more like a knight than a beast wing webbing as a shield wing claw as a sword and tail as a spear its combo using the combination of wing shield charge and tail stab look like a real knight

10:38 Funny note: when it reach to it's blood-lust form, it is immune to specific conditions. Which is Marionette Spider, Puppet spider, Wyvern Riding and flash bomb. Meaning, P.Malzeno has no counterplay to punish/interrupte his moves forcing hunters to counter a specific moves or keep dodging or the most important recommendations, *Git Gud*

@KnottyTulip2713 Well, it's not about quest time. It's about P.Malzeno's hp, when he reaches about 20 ish per cent of its hp, that where the specific conditions have been nullified to make the hunt more dangerous Unless if you've already known that experience

This thing took me 17 attempts to beat its story version with Fio. 17 attempts...later decided to challenge him again without any external help (followers/buddies)...45 minutes and one cart left. I was sweating bullets xD Fun fight with Heavensent Dual Blades,but the guy is just way too relentless with his attacks and HP pool makes the hunt a real endurance run.

I beat him using heaven-sent 3, partbreaker 3 and blood rite 3 as skills. Combined they allowed me to beat him without carting. I used the Sliver Slicers to get even more hp from hitting him

Technically the only way Primordiap could be harder is if it was the secodary monster in a 2 monster Special Investigation (more monsters = less health between them all so only 2). I got an special investigation with a Primordial and Risen Shagaru and unironcially took me around 10+ attempts

Even if you had 1000 or more defense, he could still one shot you. I would know since I had over 1000 defense and still fainted.

Yeah, of course. Defense does very little in this game and MH in general. There's a chart for every interval of 25 DEF between 100 and 1,000, inclusive, but here's some hightlights for blademasters: 700 (lower than normal for endgame even with reductions aplenty): 10.26% 800 (normal with many augs that reduce DEF a lot and MoH 3): 9.09% 900 (also pretty normal with augs reducing and MoH 1-3): 8.16% 1,000 (still no big deal to reach without any boosters, MoH, and moderate reductions from augs): 7.41% The higher you get your DEF, the more depressing its value becomes. Those Mega Armorskins, Adamant Seeds, and Armorpowders are giving you less than 0.1% damage reduction. Don't be like MH KZbinrs. Save yourself a lot of anxiety.

@@ivaldi13About the defense formula. An attack with a motion value of 1000, which is common in MR, will do 91 damage with 800 defense and 74 damage with 1000 defense. 91 is 23% more than 74.

its funny that u, as a very good hunter, said u just found out his weakness is dragon, when it was clear as day that one of his weakness was dragon. Every elder dragon with dragon attacks is weak to dragon, but sometimes u just cant see the obvious

It's because of the Farcasters. When trying to leave to another zone during his final phase, Primordial Malzeno will teleport to that area and punish you for cowering. Which prevents players from leaving to camp unless they have a Farcaster they crafted
