Maizey's sounds today were pure joy which adults rarely have so it is fun to hear. So many great fabrics today. I love the florals.

When my kids were little, I never told them it was bedtime. I said that it was quiet time which meant they went to their beds, and they could read or play quietly. They were always asleep within 15 minutes.

Roger came in also on Wednesday to see what Maizey was up to!!! But any time he hears Maizey he comes in to see her!! Yesterday when we were out shopping yesterday for grocery shopping I was thinking of what my mom used to make and how she made it. When I sat down in the car outside the store there was this beautiful dragonfly sitting on the windshield just looking around. I shed quite a few tears while I waited for Roger to finish checking out. I love the Halycon line. But, right now I am packing my sewing room up for a move to our sun room! There are three sides of windows with the brick wall, the one side that has no windows, keeps things in shadows, so hoping that I will not get any sun damage on my fabric.

Room sounds amazing. You can always put the sun window film on your windows. It slightly darkens the room, slightly but prevents Uv damage. We had to do on windows because I had a wall I hung wall quilts on. Sun damaged a few before we covered. Once covered no more issues. You can do it yourself. It’s not hard. Home Depot sells the film

I've been looking for the swirling fabrics. I am also looking for scrolling prints that go with a quilt kit I purchased for a holiday Christmas quilt. It's called Winter Wishes with reindeer.
