Although he was born in a privilliged family, with a father like Mansoor Ali Khan and a mother like Sharmila Tagore, he made his way himself in the Indian film industry which is a big credit to him. It's a typical hindu custom to wear it and it's so heartening to see how he's embraced the other religion as well, stretching his religious boundaries to become a more inclusive individual.
