I cannot help but always think about all the sweet memories Delilah will have on her childhood. Playing in the kitchen while you are cooking or baking, Doug is doing some house stuff and the music is on. It sounds so idyllic. A childhood everyone would want ❤

It is much needed on days like today, when my depression and anxiety feel a bit too much. Sending all my love!!!

There’s a test to see whether flour is plain or self raising. You put half a teaspoon in some vinegar. If it fizzes a little, it is self raising. Plain flour won’t fizz.

Oh those cookies look so good. Makes me thing of the brown sugar cookies I used to make. With M & M....pieces called party cookies. Made them plain too. The sweetness of your vlogs sometimes bring tears to my eyes, those sweet happy times when we were all young, without a care clouding our sky. Times spent with my family, when things were mostly good. I sometimes long for those days. But your family brings that all back, and it's so sweet. Truly love you all. Take care and stay well.

As a teen I was very much like I am today. I loved to read and write. I journaled almost daily. I read Stephen King books and then later discovered Nicholas Evans. They are nothing alike. In music I loved opera, classical and Pearl Jam. I've never fit in anywhere. I gave up on fitting in at 8 years old and made friends with my journal. Bernardo (my journal) has been my best friend for 27 years now. I love journaling. 😊💕

Your Paramore concert experience sounds a lot like mine! I went to their concert in 2014 in Milan (the only concert in Milan in years, or probably ever), thank God my friend and I didn’t queue for hours, we somehow managed to sneak in among the first people in the queue - no one noticed, but I still kinda feel bad about it- and then when we went in and the concert started we got completely squeezed and pushed back. It is the best concert I’ve ever been to in my life anyway! 😍

I'm a fair bit older than you, so my teenage years were in the mid - late 90s. While everyone else I knew was doing grunge or brit pop inspired looks, I was wearing tie dye and doc martens with a barbour jacket (not sure why!) and listening to 1970s disco!! I cringe at myself now, especially as I have realised I missed out on enjoying so much amazing music at the time it was released! I was so cynical about all music at that time!! In my late teens I started going out a lot and 90s hip hop, r'n'b and rap and music inspired by that sort of thing was cool again so I got really into it. My partner is always a bit surprised when I start rapping a whole rap given I'm really not that cool! I also had a phase of going out all the time and dressing like a cool indie girl and listening only to indie music in the mid 00s (I went to uni as a mature student). So like Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers etc. The music wasn't cringe, more just how my friends and I thought we were the coolest people around. (spoiler, we were most likely not cool at all!)

As an early teen I went from "I will never wear skirt !" skater girl (without skating cos my ankles are too weak) to full victorian goth within a year... I assumed the cliche thinking to myself that it was the time of my life I'd be able to do it without (too much) questionning from people around.
