Awesome Todd!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼 I can’t tell for sure but it doesn’t look like you’re using any ear protection. Please protect those ears!!! Your ears are everything in drumming. I personally use in ear monitors or my Vic firth sound isolating headphones, but with your set up playing to some music out of speakers in the room, I’d recommend you look into some Eargasm earplugs. I’ve never used them personally but apparently they’re supposed to reduce the Dbs without sacrificing sound quality.

Hey there. YES! I do use triple flange hearing protection- the same ones I used when I used to shoot a lot. Don't know if they're apparent but they hang off my hi hat stand. I am not wearing them for this song though but, do usually.

Sounded great Todd. You have the confidence to play and we're here to critique EH' ? AC/DC on a pleasant Sunday morning is cool here. How does the M-80 sound on a song like that you just played. Eliminated that M-80 and the SPL/8 from your snare collection video. Quite the trove of premier snares you have. You did keep the beat rather well and I missed the cymbal playing switch. Well Done.

That little M80 just wouldn't fit in with that song. It's still there- mounted to my high hat. My home-made 20" UFO / Gong drum is just to its left and below and I'm using it to accentuate the heavy hits with the 16". Problem is, it's not that loud and doesn't record very noticeably. Going to put another 20" head on the floor beneath it to reflect the sound back as the carpets eats it up. That snare and the 8" SPL were left out mainly for the fact that they are not Premiers.
