If you don't have access to an outdoor range where you can shoot steel or targets like this. I like to make my own 12 gauge wadcutters by creating wax slugs. Use machinist wax and you don't have to worry about it melting even in Arizona or Texas heat.

I noticed John shot with the sling longer and over his shoulder, Neil’s was tight and against the gun. He put it over his shoulder after shooting and kept it pretty tight. Any reason for the difference in technique?

Just a different way… I’m not much of a sling guy so my ‘technique’ isn’t great! :)

If you ran a tie down to the ground could you keep shooting them without them flying up on the cross piece?

Dueling tree targets, $35.99 each. My DT has 6 targets...thats 215.94 for just the targets. I got my whole tree fir $150.00. They are certainly nice, just expensive for my taste.

$230 for the entire setup minus 2x4s on their website, will last longer than steel, no corrosion problems, no standoff requirements, don't deform like steel...that sounds like a good deal to me!
