Heh, I have stuck with Jing Yuan since 1.0. He’s far from perfect but still manageable. I rather built a team around the characters I really like than just get the most effective team of characters I don’t care about. There would be something very satisfying if my day 1 favourite will get better with my most anticipated unreleased favourite 😊

@@joseph32jk by indirectly he means that sunday has been prepared for the servant meta in 3.X like how ruan mei was prepared for break meta patches before break teams were even a thing but jing yuan just so happens to have a summon which works with him

The fact that Jing Yuan himself has very very high multipliers in his kit are his saving grace. Because he'll always have a chance to be buffed in the future by stronger supports, unlike characters like Yanqing and Jingliu who have way more buffs but smaller multipliers so it's more difficult to buff them further with new supports, buffs get diluted but multipliers will be forever relevant. Now in a single cicle LL can attack so much more, usually with 7 stacks and when his ult is up with 10, this is huge as you just need to get 6 stacks for his crit dmg passive to be up and overall you're going to get 20+ stacks worth of damage out of LL in a single cicle. Sunday having energy restoration is extremely huge as he serves as a mix of Bronya and Tingyun giving him the best of both worlds. They will for sure release a stronger summon dps but that wont take away the fact that Jing Yuan is once again a strong and versitile dps, as you said he won't be tier 0 or anything but he'll be just below as an amazing character for those who invested in him. Rejoice Jing Yuan enjoyers :')

Id argue jing yuan’s biggest flaw is LL’s Ai not having an enemy priority system but non the less Sunday is indeed a blessing to the general. I just hope he’s next rerun is not stacked so I can get he’s lightcone

Would she really work? I kept seeing people say that Sunday's action advance has anti synergy with Sparkle's buff. Her AA makes JY attack, and then Sunday's AA makes JY attack again, but after he attacks, Lightning Lord won't have Sparkle's crit damage during its turn.

I got Jing Yuan in 1.0. the only time in hoyo game when I won my first 50/50. I benched him when Kafka came out. His kit is just clunky. Sunday fixes that clunk and just sky rockets his damage. I'm aiming for E0S1. E1 Robin is waiting for him.

If anyone can save JY it'll be Sunday. The real question is whether there will be a way to speed tune Sunday to always act at a point where LL has sufficient (7) stacks. The biggest potential issue I see is Sunday getting his action de-synced with LL such that Sunday gets his turn when LL only has 3 stacks, and then not again until after LL has acted. It's certainly feasible to sync them for the first LL turn, but will they fall out of sync after that? I think that'll be a determining factor for whether Sunday is a support that fixes JY's flaws, or just another insufficient buff in a long line of insufficient buffs.

My instant thought would be speed tuning a jingyuan, sparkle, sunday, huo huo or lingsha team, because i think you could be able to get up near 8 to 10 stack each time if sparkle can advance and then Sunday adcancing him again

i genuinely think that with sunday being released, jing yuans new best team will be sunday and sparkle, both at high speeds, with sunday 1 or 2 speed lower, that essentially always allows u to have a 7 stack LL, and with sundays energy regen, u can get a 10 stack LL every other LL. And if u have bronya's or sundays lc, youll be swimming in skill points. yeah jingyuan finna be in a meta team now

Hey unrelated. So i can probably gather around 160-200 pulls by the end of 2.6. I have a guarantee at 45 pity on character banner and 50/50, (not sure) 0 pity on weapon. I can go for s1 acheron if i want, i can also go for jiaoqiu after that since i only need max of 45 pulls. But i can also try and go for e2 acheron, and i am not sure what to do. Say if i get e2s0 acheron. e0s1 acheron with jiaoqiu. Or e2s1 acheron. What would be the best out of theese? Also great vid as usual, keep it up.

E0S1 with Jiaoqiu no questions. You don't need E2, her lightcone is a significant upgrade, making her ACTUALLY what people think she is. Jiaoqiu makes her do E2 level of damage, and you get another unit for your account that's a good debuffer

Jingyuan just really unlucky unit. he dont have what he need to give his peak peformance during his first release. while recent DPS already have it upon their first release. I mean imagine FF release in the same time as other stelaron hunter at 1.1-1.2... no HMC no RM, bailu sustain 😂 on the other hand If his first release is after sunday we wont say he receive a buff anyway

T0 on PF is a bit of a Stretch actually, I saw a Argenti showcase on the New Pf for 2.7 and He absolutely destroyed there, 60k 0 cycle with E0S1 supports (except a E1S1 Robin), for this version of beta test, he would be T0.5 easily, but not T0 On the other hand, he would get in T0.5 on moc, he 1 cycled the first side with Sunday, Robin and galagher, everyone at E0S1 (aside from jing yuan himself who was E0S0), this result was only bellow that of Firefly who managed to 0 cycle on the same conditions (5 limited investment and sustain) by a hair of difference bettween 0 cycle to 1 cycle
