Is Shane naturally a central midfielder? Best I've seen him play and easily man of the match for me based on these highlights. Kept the ball moving with some simple passes, scored a worldly that, in my opinion, was correctly called offside, and put in a great ball for the goal. Keep him there!

I was very nervous when you went 0-1 down.As for the linesman,the 1st disallowed goal had 2 players that could have been in the goalkeeper's way.That was close but the 2nd was definitely a clean goal.That ref really should be investiagted by the league,or Essex FA should have closer control over these matches! Either way you turned it around very well.Deserved the 3 points!

I am the assistant manager of my club, and i do the line so i can see the game from another perspective from the manager and keep an eye on the back line. I run the line fairly. I do this as my team will be learn from their mistakes rather than relying on me putting the flag up. I will not cheat to win!

Looking at the offsides. Number 1 was correct. 2 forwards offside and obstructing the keeper. Number 2, player clearly not interfering, goal. Sadly some referees argue that if your on the pitch your interfering. Penalty retake correct, encroached, retake and YELLOW card according to the laws. Loved the coach on a Subday!!

That's a good point but he would clearly know smiv / Palmers are filming , smiv could easily protest with the footage not trying to argue just saying.

Offside technology is still not used in the big leagues where they have the technology to make it in real time. Video evidence is nothing for the game. I think that the clear desicsions like offside, ball on the line of goal, and who touched the ball last before it came out should be on the hand of the tecnology, only the fauls should be in the hand of the ref becouse it needs a little bit of interpretation. And anyway, this is not the Premier.
