Offsides are a real issue in Sunday League football at the minute, too easy for the linesman to stick their flag up on any decision and the ref has no option but to believe them. Such a shame as it means if you keep your flag down then you are being punished for your honesty when the favour is rarely returned. Unfortunately this means that more linesman are inclined to cheat and it ruins the amateur game.

it was complete bullshit in my match, my teammate is running down the wing with the ball, our striker is in the middle of the pitch just offside, the winger takes a heavy touch up the line to himself, remember our striker is offside but nowhere near the ball, the linesman blows up for offside even though he literally passed to himself... we only got a drop ball not even a free kick

I've done the line for the last couple of weeks and I only put my flag up if it is offside, but then I have the opposite linesman who is clearly cheating and then people telling me to cheat because the other linesman obviously is, which is pathetic. Unfortunately I don't know how you can solve the issue!

The amateur league I play in doesn't even have linesmen so more often than not it's down to the judgement of an unfit old referee, that barely leaves the halfway line the whole game. Ends up being the team with the loudest sideline that gets each decision.

love the videos smiv its the highlight of my tuesday mornings, little suggestion though, getting a wider angle lense might help you with the camera movement because its a bit jittery at some points as the ball moves around too quickly and having a wider lense means less camera adjustments, would also mean you can stick the camera closer to the pitch and get around any crowd that comes to watch. Either way great vids smiv keep em up!
