Hi fam. All tortoises are protected by law in South Africa and may not be killed, captured or kept in captivity. The only reason to pick one up would be to remove it to a place of safety from a position where it was unlikely to survive - e.g. - a busy road or from the threat of an approaching fire.

I don't think so. Washing dishes as children is such a South African thing. She should get a dishwasher for convenience but the kids must learn to wash dishes and clean after themselves like all our parents thought. I still live by these same rules at almost 40.

Hello you all I remember raising my sons who are grown men right now doing great in life and careers , I might add! But Chase reminds me of them however Chase has an advantage of living in South Africa 🇿🇦 some people will never make the trip to the motherland! Being well travelled is a level of life comes in handy helps you to adapt to others and understand different cultures! Math there is probably milligrams and stuff The USA didn’t make us learn it unless you were maybe a doctor or pharmacist. I tried the dog thing it was a disaster no no ! lol 😂 Chase remember nothing from nothing leaves nothing…I used to love that song!
