I saw the prototypes of the model-c in like 2007. Its the benefit of living in Cali and knowing people in the industry.

Great bike! I have the 2019 model. Wreaks havoc at the local skate park. Cheers

Thanks for the comment! Yea I like it I haven’t taken it to the park yet. I haven’t been to a skatepark in 20 years lol. When I do go, I’ll be that old dude I used to see when I was a kid. 😂

@@MASHLEY69 I am him and I don’t care. Lol. I just pump around and get small airs. Good enough for me. 💪🏻

@@MASHLEY69 Dude that's me now too..... the old guy carving around at the park. I got the 2022 Model C, murdered out with pegs and I love it in the park. Bowls are super fun. Here in Arvada Co. we have a snake run into a big bowl and I could ride it all day.

@@4stoever sweet man! I never did get to the park with it. I ended up selling the bike because I wasn’t using it much. I am from denver (Thornton Area) I used to love going to the park downtown. And I think there was another one we used to hit up in wheatridge. It was an all metal park and they had a true half pipe. Keep on shreddin!

Thats so cool your local shop is Empire BMX!
@MASHLEY692 жыл бұрын
Yes. It’s also refreshing that the guys that work there are super cool and seem to have a passion for actually helping out the customers. Some of our other bike shops around here I just hate to go into because I feel like I’m an inconvenience to the staff.

Just picked up a project 24c I can hardly wait to get it to finish product. Me and my son love to cruise Austin!

Nice. Yes I always say I’m gonna take my time upgrading and then I get in a rush and want to do everything all at once 😂

I have the frame stripped to bare metal then order 245$. In parts lol. I have to repaint the forks due to rushing. I’m thinking of just clear coating the frame raw. I like seeing the welds. Now I’m just waiting on grips,peddles,seat,crank,sprocket, and head unit to come in Monday.

@@michaelwells730 NIICEE... I had a Forecaster in matte raw. I liked it but I think I am more of a gloss finish guy. ALL my bikes are matte, so it gets boring. I like them to shine real nice when I clean them up :-) good luck on the build . . . you going to record your progress?
@michaelwells7302 жыл бұрын
I have pictures but I’ve never recorded a project but maybe I should.
@MASHLEY692 жыл бұрын
@@michaelwells730 I’d watch it. I love watching other people spend money on their builds lol. Lots of other people would too I’m sure.

Is this a good option for someone who is 5'8 / 150 lbs and wants to be able to cruise, very occasional pump track or dirt track? I know a 26 is better for cruising, but I just feel like it would suck on pump or dirt. Thoughts?

I think so I think it’s a comfy medium between the 20” and the 29”. For me as I get older I can’t do the 20s anymore and this is still small enough to throw around a bit.

I dump my seat as low as it goes and never use it.

Oh gosh I don’t remember. I no longer have this bike. Maybe 25.4? Can’t say for sure though.

I'm 5'9 and I'm just wondering how much kink in my knee there would be, sitting down with the pedal/cranks fully extended (I got a 300mm seatpost). @@MASHLEY69
