Last video before going napping, lol 😆 Beautiful build, Kyle!! I've built several old Monogram and a couple Salvinos re-pops, but I can only remember building one AMT kit, a Petty 92 Grand Prix some time in the 90's--correction, if you count small scale, I also built the 1/32 scale of that same car a couple February's ago for the Small Scale Group Build, I'd forgotten that one 🤔 Thank you for the continued prayers and shoutout, brother, I really appreciate that 😊🙏

I'm trying to remember to tag everyone I mention in a video but it is hard to remember sometimes. LOL. Thank you very much. This was a fun build, and I don't mind these AMT kits at all. Just have to hope for the best with the decals now. Those 1/32 scale nascar kits are sweet too. A NASCAR build every now and then is a good time. Thanks for watching, as always and go to bed!! 🤣🤣🤣

What a nice clean build, I liked the little details like the framing of the front nose grills/inlets. Just wish the model companies would of gave us an alternate window net that was laying down on the inside or outside of the door. Unfortunately, the window nets really block seeing inside. I will have to try and dig out my old build to show everyone how i sawed the window net free and rolled down to better expose the interior to be seen. And thanks for mentioning my channel in your description.

@@ChoppersModelworks thank you very much!! I’ll do a better shoutout to your channel too. Like to get the names out there!! I agree completely about the window nets. A down option would’ve been awesome. I’ve seen a lot of people scratch their own. I’m going to try it one day. Thanks for watching!

@@BigSkyModelWorkshop this was my first (and only so far) AMT and I was surprised and pleased by the detail. It went together just as well as the monograms too. I like this era of amt kits a lot. Wish some people made 1/25 nascar decals but they’re basically all 1/24. Thanks for watching Joe!

Had to watch this first thing in the morning. My ex and I were huge Mighty Mouse fans. I still remember how awesome it was when Alan won the championship and then being devastated early a few months later when we saw the news of his death at Bristol. I have the Monogram kit of his Zerex car. I laso have his die cast hauler and and his car with the card of him holding the Winston Cup. I still have an old posted of him, his car and a bunch of Hooters girls somewhere. I have a Alan T shirt in a drawer that I haven't worn since his passing. Great looking build!
@kyledehartsscaleworksКүн бұрын
@@JDsHouseofHobbies very, very clll stuff it sounds like!! I actually always really liked the look of this Zerex car, although I know the Hooters car is forever more iconic. He was one heck of a driver and did things his way from the jump. Really hurt the sport when he passed. At least for the monogram kit, you’ll be able to get decals if you need them!! Great job on the car, Kyle. Alan Kulwicki was something else. Did you cut open the trunk or do those kits come like that?
@kyledehartsscaleworks14 сағат бұрын
@@timcarson8146 thanks Tim! Kulwicki was cut from his old mold and his loss was a blow to nascar along with Allison. Just a shame. The AMT kits have the separate deck lid and include the clear parts for the vent hose and fuel filler and that. It’s an area they are superior to the monogram kits. And these build up great too. Fun kits for sure. For some reason the monograms just really took off more. Wish there were 1/25 scale decal options. Instead it’s better to source the monogram stuff for the 1/24 scale aftermarket decals. Thanks for watching.
