​@@kevinadah, here in another part of the US (Seattle), we recycle weekly and people pay by the size of the garbage they use so they recycle (and compost which is free and weekly also) WAY more. It's all about how you structure incentives. The US is vast and some places are doing things in a way that makes sense.

@@kevinadah It seems you are doing that out of US tradition instead of what's best for the environment. Here in the UK, we have a seperate green bin for recyclable items which means less waste & less environmental damage. I recomend the US to follow this UK idea which is to recycle all recyclable items such as plastic bottles & paper in a seperate bin called a RECYCLE BIN. Hope thjis helped^^

Congrats on 200k! Also, for the know alls in the comments. Pot holes are paid for out of our council tax, not car VED. No one pays road tax, haven't done for decades. VED Tax is for emissions. Goes into government coffers not the roads. 😉🤓

Sounds like Battersea power station has had a lot of work done. I remember when contractors moved in and started pulling it down. They gutted it before they were stopped. A preservation order was placed on it. Then it sat. There were various open air functions in it. But it sounds like, from your video, they have built businesses inside of it. When I used to come into London on the train a fair bit. I always came past the powerstation. It was still working then. You saw that, Victoria station was next.

You can stop on double yellow lines for loading, so long as it doesn't have 1 or 2 yellow notches at regular intervals on the pavement beside the double yellows. If it has one notch, then it is time dependent and you need to check the signs on the lamp posts.
