Sounds like you had a great day with your family. I am going to do a little experimenting next year. I will share with you and your listeners with my results. I am going to run spin doctors or flashers on everything!! My flasher and flies are always my top producers every year. I don't think it's the fly... I believe it's the attractor bringing the fish to the fly. In the 1980s, we always put flashers in front of our spoons. I will tell you it looks awesome in the water. Lots of bling. I am going to experiment with the lengths of leaders from flasher to spoon. I would encourage other listeners to also try this...let's finally get an answer if this helps.
