matt, you can use a body filler spreader or a credit card to tuck the tape against the frets. also, I learned not to pull the tape too tight as it might lift.

I like to use a razor blade like a scraper and "shave" the runs mostly away, then sand. I have had LOTS of practice over the years, haha

Super cool info on how to prepare for and use Simtec. I havent tried it yet but will this next time instead of some other sealer and grain filler. Questions: how long does it need to dry between srayings and did you sand it between each spraying? Thanks!

Can u stain after u are finished with sealer, my mind isn't working, what I ment was if (i),put sealer on wood and do all my sanding is it ok to put wood stain instead of paint on the guitar, im very sorry I didn't mean u I ment would it be OK to use stain
