Shadiq, I listen to drill for similar reasons. I want to hear where they came from and what they've been through so I can understand them as people as well as how and why they live that life. You touched on some super important context that the people absolutely need to hear. I'd love to see a video about the impact that the environment these kids grew up in had on their ability to mitigate the effects of poverty, lack of access to adequate mental health services, and the violence that springs from that. I want to see all these guys win and get out to elevate themselves and their people. It's be easier if they all worked together so they can rise together, but they've been pushed into fighting wars older than themselves. Thanks for what you do man, big love from Baltimore.

Most the drill rappers are max early 20’s and so I think we’ll see more speak on deeper stuff as they grow and get rid of the macho street image. As a fan it’s exciting to see a whole generation actually grow in music and as people. These guys started a new genre as teenagers and are now men with decisions to make in their life and musically too and will be interesting who does what.
