💒such good shepherding pr. jd, i'm grateful, humbled, left reglective, wishing to apply this teaching, and also wondering how to receive fuller understanding of a country church we left that had a woman given control and authority to organize church events to watch the chosen & groups to raise money for the church, and she was allowed to teach scripture led "excercize" having been an owner of a yoga studio, with new age background before being a "believer" ( air quotes to signify a Holy Sporit led question)... nonetheless, Glory to the Lord God for everything we learn about God's Kingdom❣️📖🗡✝️🩸🇮🇱⏰ and pray for the peace of Jerusalem brethren!

Thank you Pastor JD speaking difficult but necessary biblical issues that most churches don't talk about or teach falsely. All the many churches I went to are as such, so I had no idea. I'm guilty of both having women pastors and not submitting to the authority of my ex. This is sobering message to me but so necessary. Thank you for expounding on prophetic passage into great application--a rare find. 🙏 Love you much! 💝

Very good sermon and reminds me of something the Holy Spirit ministered to me years back re being a woman: we will either submit or seduce ... submit to Christ and husband or you will be seduced away from Christ and husband by the enemy. It's one or the other can't be both. Submission is our protection from seduction!!❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

My long time home church (A of G) has gone to female pastors, the head pastor's wife specifically and it breaks our hearts. Wife and I were married there 15 years ago and moved to another state. So many things going the wrong way with worship and music there. I pray they repent.

I like to listen to Ps. JD’s sermon’s over and over and over asking the Holy Spirit to reveal His answers to me that I may have missed. Sometimes the Holy Spirit prompts me to search out words, history, etc. Hop that helped!! Love love

Well, even if you got that word "desire" in the context of still desiring the man even past child bearing pain twisted arouns into being about her controlling nature .. Dont forget the curse on Men after the fall is explained also in the next sentence of the text, which is that they will have a tendency to RULE OVER the woman ie domineeringly which is sinful conduct. You must be balanced in teaching both genders pastor. Cheers

Scripture doesn't say a husband will have a TENDENCY to rule over the woman. He shall/will rule over her. It's only a sin if he isn't ruling as Christ rules over the Church. He is to love her as Christ loves us. Scripture says the husband is the head of the body when they become one.

I asked the Lord about this matter and it was revealed to me by His Holy Spirit that all this wasnt as He intended for us from the beginning. Look carefully again into that Genesis chapter which was spoken as just matter of fact AFTER the fall i.e. in consequences to their Sin ("Adam's sin of Disobedience") and not a command! I already covered a teaching/preaching/lecture about Christ's Love being all the man is called to do in leadership submitting to Cheist first and so one to another in the humble fear of God. And how any headship protection too is only of relevance to the headship of Christ, not that a woman is always the stupid one who needs his spiritual protection otherwise what of single fatherless women!? And look, so sorry if any listener of my words are male. Tough

There's more Jezebel in your words than anything. Yes, it's clear that God said that man shall rule over the woman AFTER the fall. It's the consequences of sin. That doesn't change anything now. Women still bear the pain of childbirth, too, now because of it.

Have you considered that many godly husbands have not had respect in regard to sexual needs being met for a long time (many years) which has lead to husbands checking out? I realize that husbands drop the ball at times but for every time I hear an emphasis on fulfilling each other's sexual needs, I hear probably 100-150 times about men need to man up. Could the rebuke in this text be aimed out pastors and elders who do not bring up this subject of sex being withheld physically and/or emotionally? We talk about the adverse use of my body my choice regarding abortion and pandemic shots. However, pastors don't seem to ever address my body my choice in regards sex with their spouse.

If a woman does not want to sleep with her man … there is issues in the relationship… and her needs are not being met in another way .. there for withdrawing from sexual desire. A lot of men are quick to complain their wife doesn’t want to sleep with them but are slow to understand there is a reason. (Ofc sometimes it could be due to mental or physical health but aside from that , no person who is content in their relationship and otherwise healthy … will withdraw from their spouse )
