I do sew for other people BUT only for close family, my partner and best friends. And even then I will ask them to pay for the fabric (unless it’s a birthday/Christmas present of course). I completely agree that sewing is a hobby and it should be for yourself in the first place. 😊 However, I did have a hard time saying No when random people asked me to sew them something (but I did 💪🏼).

Love your video, with the needle cord you could always use a lighter weight fabric for the facing if you can find a great match and understitch so you can’t see it.
