Agreed just have specialist bunker ppl, not refs on their days off, also what if the refs are fatigued by a game before and effects their decision making the day after.

Are you kidding? You're allowing for individual interpretation of the rulebook, when there is only ONE. And it's written in plain bloody English too. There's not too many occasions during the game that wont have examples on tape. It just needs there to be a definitive ruling for each occasion so we can question the bunker as to why they've made a call that's opposite to that definition. Ok? K.I.S.S Don't over complicate a simple game, we have the technology to keep the bunker " unbiased"...just saying

CommentTors are usually right on the calls. = ex players, but in saying that having ex players and coaches there’s for sure going to be bias. It’s common sense! How can all us fans see the wrongs and rights but these paid professionals can’t get it right? And the nrl fines you for bringing it up. I’m so glad Gus is taking them on

Don't need smart people. Some of the biggest drongos I've ever come across are so called PhD University graduates. Just people with common sense and people who are not looking for any reason not to award a try.

Could NRL trial lower grade games with 4 touch judges and 1 main ref once the ball crosses the 50 metre line the ref sits behind the ruck and leave the two touch judges keep hold of the ten???
