Lilia Vu…down 2 with 3 to play, gets up and down on the 16th, then holes an 18 footer on the 17th to win the hole and extend the match, then (still down 1), wedge to 2 feet to tie the match on 18 and secure the 1/2 point to clinch the cup. Ice in her veins but fire in her heart.

It was a strong finish with great 17 and 18 indeed. That is the reason why she is ranked #2. But I value Albane Valenzuelas effort much higher. Albane, a SHC Rookie, ranked #63 plays world #2, comes back after 2 down with great golf and did not let Vu win, even though Vu played 6 under (!).

@@slartbart Lilia Vu didn’t have her “A” game and she had to fight back and came up clutch when it mattered most. I will argue Albane had everything to gain and nothing to lose being the underdog. Lilia is a SHC rookie too. And Albane, knowing Lilia had a tap in, should have at least gotten her putt to the hole. Never up, never in.

Was a rough watch supporting Europe although Hull &Hall superb but a few ladies underperformed like Ciganda &Boutier.Shame but have to say Rose Zhang at 21 a superstar of the future.Golf the winner😅

I watched it all, It was doable with Maja, Albane and Esther in the end that's the 3 halves that mattered. Boutier did save it and Ciganda was against Zhang

As a US fan im so thankful for Suzann's poor decisions with pairings. Shes a vastly over rated captain, if not for a lame ass rule she screwed it up in Spain and same here. Completely agree!!! Suzann always let her Scandinavians buddies play. Emily Pedersen 5 times - this was a joke. It is obvious that there had been tension in the team. The LET learned nothing after the luckiest tie last time where the pairings were bad as hell too. Congrats to the US
