TO ALL WHO WATCH THE STRING ALONG; On July 3rd, 2022, I saw Doyle at Princeton Church of God in Princeton, N.C. After he played, as we were talking, I told him of a need for God's touch on my hands. They were going numb from time to time, and made it difficult to play guitar. He told me that he had been fighting trigger finger the entire morning. Before I knew what was happening he said " let's pray for each other". He immediately grabbed my hands and began to pray. Needless to say, I was reassured that Doyle Dykes is everything he says he is. Folks, he is the real deal. He KNOWS Jesus. He lives Jesus. He plays for Jesus. I thank our God for real men like Doyle Dykes. When we get to heaven, maybe I'll be able to keep up with his guitar playing!🙂🎸

It's hard to pick what to say when I comment on Doyle's videos. There are just so very many things that I appreciate and that greatly impress me! Each time I comment, I mention only a few of those things. Mr. Sand sure could make fine guitars, and it's a toss-up now for me whether The Invitation sounds best on the Sand or on the Taylor DDM. Both sound heavenly! I guess the Holly Spirit likes both nylon and steel string. :-) I absolutely dig the Zelf tune Doyle wrote! Its uniqueness shows that he can play any style masterfully! Doyle's message about prayer is so important and helpful. After I had been a school principal for a few years, it became less a matter of me telling people that I would pray for them and more of them directly asking me to do so. So that I wouldn't forget, I would usually pray just as soon as I hung up the phone or as soon as they went out my office door. I truly believe not only that those prayers helped them but that they also helped me in ways that I could never anticipate or fully understand. God is so good, and He always wants to help us if we will accept His help and Grace. Clearly those early prayers that people prayed for Doyle and all those prayers prayed for and by him along the way, helped make Doyle Dykes the incredible gift that he is to this world.

I definitely believe the Holy Spirit plays guitar. There have been times, while playing praise songs on Sunday morning, that I have felt a hand on the back of my left hand. There are also times, while walking in the Spirit, that I'm able to play things I am not good enough or practiced enough to play. He definitely uses my hands to touch people. 😊😊😊

So now I’m honest with them and in a nice way I tell them , I’ll pray for you every time I think of you. I would love to hear you play “Are you washed in the Blood “. I wrote a scripture chorus with these words in the 70s and I had forgotten about it. I still remember the tune! It came back to me.

Doyle, I would love to share your string along, but it is very disturbing the youtube ads that interrupt every 5 minutes. These ads are not appropriate at all ( viagra such?)and disrupt and are not from God. I think you can control that and stop youtube from doing that.
