Love these recipes Sammi! The strawberry earthquake cake looks so delicious! I’ve made a pumpkin earthquake cake before but I like the idea of the strawberries! Those pork chops look amazing and I love that you have this recipe attached to a family memory with your dad and I hope he’ll make it for you when you see him, nothing better than a home cooked meal from a parent. My favorite Sunday supper would be anything my momma made for me when I was little, I try to make things the way she did, it comes close but not exact lol. My favorite supper is my moms beef roast with carrots potatoes and onions, German potato salad (served hot) , green beans with bacon and the sauce my mom makes for them,moms cuke salad, & her homemade coleslaw. That’s my favorite Sunday supper. Oh and the roast was served with some of my dad’s homemade horseradish. Unfortunately I didn’t grow up in a family that went to church. We ate tons of veggies bcuz fortunately we all worked on a veggie farm. And it was a blessing that we had as many veggies as we wanted bcuz I am a type 1 diabetic. Have had it for 47 yrs. Thank u for ur inspirations of cooking and prayer. U r a wonderful woman. I too enjoy cooking especially those meals that I grew up with

Gosh, I dont know what our favorite Sunday Family Dinner is, but yesterday I cooked for 10 of us. We had lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, stuffed mushrooms, and breadsticks. I also surprised the grandkids with an industrial style snow cone maker and syrups for dessert. They could hardly wait for dinner to be over. Ok, the big kids too. LOL!

❤❤Tip for you...put your strawberries in a mason jar. They will last a lot longer. Don' wash them until you are ready to use them. Your furbabies are adorable!!!

Your supper looks delicious. I have never had tomato gravy before and I am going to try and make it. One of our fav Sunday suppers is my daddy’s roast. We also love slow cooker carnitas. It’s a family favorite. We serve it over rice and add fresh quac, salsa, etc….on top or we use tortillas. Have a wonderful week!

Still trying to heal, told my hubby I look like a drunk 5 year old, I have no balance. But I am home and the doctors couldn’t find anything but a massive build up of fluids that filled my lungs and and infection not sure where. I know after getting rid of the fluid I was about 30 pounds lighter. Love pork cube steaks, never tried the tomato gravy will have to. Have a blessed my friends.

In the UK, its like Roast dinner, roast beef, chicken,pork or lamb, served with roast potatoes and roasted veg like parsnips, carrots oh and brussel sprouts. In Scotland, we also have a Sunday Roast but its more traditional here to have a Steak pie with roast potatoes, Brussel sprouts etc. We love Steak pie. Meal looks great, I've never even heard of tomato gravy, will have to give it a try. Thank you for sharing Sammi xxx

My favorite Sunday supper is my Dad's baked macaroni & cheese. His mom taught him, he taught me & now I'm teaching my son the way to make it. No real recipe: just go by memory & what feels right. Sometimes we add more cheese, other times we add more sauce (tomato sauce or puree). It all comes together & it is my favorite comfort food.

Good evening, Our favorite or should I say my hubby's is roast, potatoes, carrots and onions in the crockpot or roasted in the oven. Now the price of roast keeps that from being weekly now. Loved the menu today. Really want to try the pork cubed steak and tomato gravy. Now anything strawberry I love so dessert sounds great too. I know some people would disagree with this but have you ever used Chicken Knorr Bouillon as a seasoning on chicken? I put like a teaspoon in a bowl along with pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, and ginger when I do Chicken Stir and Fry and it is yummy. Don’t use salt because of Chicken knorr being salty enough. You will not regret it. Mix all the seasoning I mentioned in a bowl. Then sprinkle on your chicken.

That meal looks sooooo good yummm!! At the beginning you said dog food. I started making my dogs food last year. she is a lab/pit mix about 60 lbs. It is a lot of work. But she just turned 10 and runs like a puppy, her coat is great and she is so lean and muscular without that processed food. I do chicken that I instant pot & shred, ground turkey, rice, canned pumpkin & either broccoil or green beans. Only processed food is her milk bones. Yes, its an extra job after my 40+ hour work week, but man.. what a difference

How much do you feed each of your babies each day? How much do they weigh? Do you supplement with kibble? I think I may fire up the crockpot and try a small batch. Im disabled from a stroke 10 years ago, and I lost the use of my dominant hand, so stirring items on the stove is challenging. I think the crockpot will work better for my situation.
