The thriller mystery horror sci-fi adventure material Shonku series have in it, such a full package, I don't think anybody would ever find it anywhere in past or future centuries. If it comes to reality, it's going to be an unprecedented groundbreaking project.

It's actually impressive that the performers actually researched and included proper Japanese instead of just random meaningless "Japanese sounding" words like in so many other performances (when the Japanese man said, "kochira wo mite kudasai", which as far as I remember, wasn't in the original story.) They did mispronounce some Japanese words though, "like saying "Singaporu" instead of "Shingapo-ru", and although Ray wrote that Shonku was called Shonoku by the Japanese, he would probably actually be called Shonku, because they do have the 'n' sound in their language (It's the only "hasanta" consonant in Japanese, so they wouldn't need to use any of the na, ni, nu, ne or no sounds.) Also, reading and listening to these stories as an adult feels different from when I read them as a kid, and even though I have a lot to analyse and nitpick about them now, they still give me the same sense of joy. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing. Ray was a gift. Also, the score for this episode was especially awesome.

@@garlic7330 yes and no. I've been studying Japanese for 2 years now, which is not enough to be entirely fluent, so I can't understand 100% of an anime without subtitles yet. But I can understand about 55-65% of it at the least. I also try to read manga in the original Japanese, but I need a dictionary handy mostly for the kanjis I don't know how to read yet (when the furigana print is too small to read)
