thanks for cooking this up! i think many people overlook the option of getting sunday on a rerun and sit back & observe in what direction we are going. 100% agree on that one! servants definetely will be relevant but its not like this will be the one and only viable team which cant work without sunday.

There's a reason they release Fugue than all of a sudden have the Trailblazer change paths. She essentially takes HMC place in Superbreak teams while RMC can be used in the summon meta along with Sunday and/or Aglaea.

No matter what kit Tribbie has I’m skipping her, even if she is a better Sunday, I don’t pull for child characters they don’t appeal to me at all. Getting Sunday regardless. I have Boothill and he doesn’t need HMC, I have a very well built Ruan Mei and Sunday also works with him. I’m still undecided about Fugue, maybe will try if I don’t win 50/50 I skip.

Imagine skipping Sunday and then regretting 4 months in a row when they release characters that want Sunday in their team. I'd feel awful and I'd not want anyone to have that fate.

You just dont pull for other characters which is also a good thing you can save for another. You do know that a lot of people are still working on their Firefly or Feixiao team comps imagine pulling for a totaly new team comp I am a low spender and I just finished my Feixiao team with Aventurine. Sunday needs a totaly new team comp you nead at least 2-3 new characters

I was just about to say this. Remberance characters have servants so Sunday would be best in slot harmony character everytime a remberance char come out . I was gone skip him but when I found out what he do it's a no brainer to pull for him , seems pretty future proof to me.

I think you've made a good point here. I will choose Fugue since I already have Firefly Rappa Ruan Mei and Lingsha. I also want to work on my Fua team so I will focus on getting Robin next year too and I think I will work for a functioning Herta team as well

I say it’s fair, if you wanna play DoT you have to pull Kafka then a team buffer and the dps, if you wanna play break you have to pull Ruan Mei and Fugue and the dps. If you wanna play Rememberance you have to pull Sunday another buffer and the dps. The trailblazer is like a free trial during the year and then when the next one comes out the TB replacement will also come out

Sunday 10/10 times…. And this is coming form someone with a E2S1 FF and I still think Sundays the easiest pick. But if I wasn’t a low spender I would definitely pick up Tingyun tho.

the thing is ddd isnt really that needed outside of 0-cycle teams, sure its great but not that important outside of 0-cycle teams because even without it you can easily clear in however many cycles

​@@KirigayaHayato I think it comes down to Opportunity Cost. People who don't play the superbreak archetype don't need to care at all. They can get RMC, play the Remembrance archetype and go on with their day. But those who plan on playing superbreak as well as the Remembrance archetype have to consider getting Fugue to make things work. At this point it doesn't matter how much better Fugue is. She is simply necessary. Though, it's a different story for those who don't plan on playing the remembrance archetype. Then it might be valid to question the value of Fugue.

the thing is you only have one mc, so pulling will be much complicated, but I'm gonna pull for fugue in a hope that rmc is enough to carry remembrance asses.

If you only have Firefly as your Break DPS, consider skipping because she has roughly the same performance as HMC. But if you have Boothill and/or Rappa, and you want to try out Super Break Himeko (for PF), then consider pulling because these three need Fugue for optimal performance. However, if you want to experience the upcoming summon meta, then pull Sunday 100%. There won't be another character that can advance summon's actions anytime soon.

Fugue does benefit Firefly a lot especialy of your Firefly is E2 ,but you are right why pull for Fugue, when harmony TB is still good.

If youre a superbreak main and you will be playing remembrance next patch you need to pull for both sunday and fugue because remembrance trailblazer is a must as a support sub dps for remembrance teams. HMC will be gone and youll have to get Fugue

I find comparing fugue and htb awful only because endless you are going to build the remembrance trailblazer (which currently would say hold off before deciding that because there isn’t much info) you would run the higher super break enabler which is htb (don’t mention any testing till release because fugue’s light cone is currently included in those testings)

Their kit are ultimately very different, with HTB providing more buffing, more single target toughness damage and super break damage and AA with DDD vs Fugue providing Smaller super breaks and damage amps, but partly color-less breaking, exo-toughness and better AoE breaking. It's the reason why Firefly would still rather use HMC (all of Fugue's utility is kind of lost on her because she can cover these things really well already) whereas Rappa/Boothill already prefer Fugue in most situations (easier mechanic stacks with Exo toughness, colorless breaking is way more useful for chars with situational/no implants) ...That and they're trying *really* hard to sell her E1 lol

@ ya this is why I say she is more of a ruan Mei replacement in firefly teams given 50% toughness break is nice but ultimately having an additional 100% super break is better plus the only thing that isn’t really included in the kit is the 10% speed boost which can help meet break points but I also got a set that doesn’t need the 10% speed on firefly. Or you can go sustainless with firefly if you want. Fugue vs htb is like comparing boothill to rappa. Both happens to have one thing they can do similarly but they both fill different roles and can work amazingly together

I've seen a video with calculations. And Fugue+HMC give more gamage than Fugue+RM. And, I'll repeat it once more: I trully belive that Fugue's buffing Lingsha - this combination is the bis one. So, probably, the very Fugue team is: Fugue + RM + HMC + Lingsha. That's it. Firefly and Rappa do not take all the potential of Fugue's baff. Lingsha - she should do it perfectly. Especially - with E1 Fugue... A really original oppinion about Sunday. He is a new meta character. If you're complitly sure that you don't want to play remembarance characters, than, of course, you shuldn't pull Sunday. I'm not sure that they are planning to do any other summon buffer in a near future. Coz they already selling us Sunday. Maybe - a break summons buffer. May be. In a nutshell: Sunday is a really important harmony nowadays. If you don't play end-game contentent and you don't want to pull remembarance characters, Sunday is not a good option for you. But otherwise - he's a must pull!

I would like to see this vid and look into the particulars. Keep in mind, many factors like builds and how the player plays can alter these conclusions. Add to this, RM isnt played on break teams just for more damage. Its for the increase SPD for the team, plus delay, plus res pen, break efficiency for the squad, etc. But yeah if you could link me that vid I would love to see it, because I saw so many people showing stats that says otherwise.

man when can i pull a male character in these gatcha games Lighter dont work with my roster, zzz is ultra powercreep have to skip Neuviellette had to skip twice for Furina and now seems i have to skip again for Mavuika in genshin Sunday!! i have been waiting for him since first panaconi livestream yet again he might get powercrept by 3.1 and beyound characters!! i will let fate decide as im at pity anyway, also in all 3 games the value of a unit on a re run is very low with very few exceptions so on Sunday/Lighter re runs most likely the little value they had will be gone by then
