Thankyou. I am looking at the pattern and didn't get it until I watched this video. Now to find the right yarn. I am practicing (we will call it a swatch, ha ha) in a yarn I don't like. Not sure what to use. I see the yarns in the pattern but I only want 2 yarns not 4. Thankyou again for this help!

The hat is knit in the round, following the chart is a little different then, you can do it! I hope to make a video for this technique in the round in the future ❤️

Would you recommend creating our own version of our chart(from whomever ‘s pattern) we are following or coloring in our copy in yarn colors or tones of light and dark that better represent what we are actually knitting with? I am new to charts. And already misread the row numbers and kept going back to far right side and starting next row. Example: Not reading from row 2 left to right.
