Thank you. Its refreshing to not see someone slapping latex house paint on the dagger board and/or rudder. Nice job.

My husband is restoring his 1971 Sunfish. This video was priceless in helping him see where to place the daggerboard spring. He and his dad were confused because the company sent two springs. I am sure he will reference your video many times. Thanks for sharing!

I also recently purchased a 1971 sunfish, was uncertain of what the spring was even for. The dagger board and Rutter is completely taken apart, and I’m trying to figure out how to get all the parts and pieces to work .

I used this on a Rosewood Stratocaster Guitar body and neck yesterday and did get a few runs.I was horrified and worried that I " F'ed " up a $3000 guitar.Your video saved my nerves in that I can indeed sand it when a few days pass. Thank you very much.

Glad to ease your mind. I hear that spray on shellac is also good for musical instruments (which presumably won't be getting wet or too much sun exposure).

I've ditched the old wooden daggerboard with a new composite one. The boat sales much better with it. 5:06

@@kenz5469 I bet that took less time as well, even with shipping....in what way does it sail better? Is the composite DB a different shape?

I have 2 daggerboards that need this and a rudder. Would you be interested in working on these for me?

@@rogercrowe7367 I'm afraid it is so labor intensive it is not worth doing as a service for others

@@summetj Oh I believe it. That’s why I reached out to you 😂 I would pay you for it though.
