Sunflower Seed Homemade Bread is an easy yeast bread with spelt, rye and wheat. If you'd like to know how to bake bread from scratch, you should know it's extremely simple!
All you have to do is mix all the bread ingredients together. No kneading required! Then, transfer the very sticky dough into your bread pan. Wait for a an hour and simply bake your delicious, sunflower seed bread. It's that simple.
In our Easy Yeast Bread recipe we use spelt, rye and wheat flour. You can substitute spelt with all purpose, if you like. You can also use whole wheat rye flour or a light rye flour, the choice is yours. You can add your favourite seeds to the bread dough, instead of sunflower or ommit the seeds completely.

How to bake easy yeast bread from scratch?
Sunflower Seed Homemade Bread Recipe, ingredients:
for one loaf:
300 g of all purpose flour,
100 g of spelt flour (or all purpose),
100 g of rye flour (whole wheat or regular)
1 heaping tsp of sugar,
1 heaping tsp of salt,
50-70 g of sunflower seeds,
400 ml of warm water,
1 tbsp of oil,
7 g of dry yeast or 25 g of fresh yeast,
some sunflower seeds for the top of the bread, optional
Sunflower Seed Homemade Bread Recipe, method:
Combine all the ingredients. Mix, using a dough hooks, for about 3-5 minutes - the dough will be very sticky. Set aside for about 20 minutes. Place your sticky bread dough to the bread pan lined with baking paper (11x36 cm). Sprinkle with additional sunflower seeds. Cover with kitchen towel, place somewhere warm and let it rise for about 60 minutes. Bake for 50-55 minutes in 180C (if the top browns too quickly, cover the berad with baking paper).
