wow, it's really interesting to see a few crocodiles in singapore! sungei buloh wetland is one of the last remaining mangrove reserves alongside the pasir ris and admiralty parks. it reminds me of the one at fishing villages in malaysia including the fishermen catching crabs and razor clams for food and also logging for charcoal and construction uses. in terms of bird watching, there is another bird-watching spot in singapore and that is the kingfisher pond at gardens by the bay close to the marina barrage and the new mrt station. most interestingly, we may get to see some herons at the sungei buloh wetlands. you can consider visiting the Thale Noi Lake in Phatthalung, southern Thailand for more bird-watching activities as well as looking at the fully bloomed lotus flowers and buffalo swimming at the lake.
