उत्तराखंड का सबसे फेमस गीत बेडु पाको बारामासा ना सिर्फ देश में बल्कि विदेशों में भी खूब बजता है। यहां तक कि कई देशों के चर्चों में बेडु पाको बजाया जाता है। बेडु पाको बारामासा गीत विदेशों में कोरल सिंगिंग का अहम हिस्सा बन चुका है। देश के पहले प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू का ये बेडु पाको बारामासा फेवरेस लोकगीत था। 1950 में बेडु पाको की प्रसिद्धी का ये आलम था कि इस गीत को मॉस्को रेडियो से भी बजाया गया। आज इसी गीत, बेडु पाको बारामासा को कई देशों में कोरल सिंगिंग के तौर पर बजाया जाता है।

Is geet k liye Kumaoni aur Gadhwali donon hnara hnara he kehkar ladhte hen, actually ye he Kumauni hi balki is geet ko P.M. Nehru ne Kumaun rejiment ki band march dhun bnane k liye slah di thi aur ise bnaya bhi gya... Aur aaj bhi bna hua hi he...

Yes Mrinal. It has become a new normal in Western countries. To answer your question, Its actually sung in Choir. There is one thing in western which is called Choral Singing. Though this singing has nothing to do with God but it usually sung in Churches.
