I think we all counted her out for a minute after her injury and her performances at winter cup, american and Gk classic, but coming 2nd after simone with downgraded routines is amazing, i think this really brought her back in the mix, its likely to be, Jordan, suni, simone, grace maybe or jade, dont see anyone else making it, as alternates maybe morgan, leanne and chellsie , although i hope chellsie makes the team

I’m so glad Suni hit this routine and redeemed herself from classics. Question though. Can someone explain where the deductions came from? I’m just curious and want to learn. I’m not trying to be upset and blame the judges. The obvious thing that she did to prevent deductions was nailing the dismount.

I think most deductions came from those tiny leg separations during her transitions, also on the first skill she performed.

Flexed feet on the first skill, little leg separations in transitions. A few handstands not vertical (especially with the full turn at the end, has to end at vertical). She also usually gets a not enough height deduction on the release she does inside the high bar during the combo (but it’s still worth it for the value the combo adds).
