Read the book. Neither Korean or Japanese culture is honored. Only Christianity and Western culture. Sunja tells Hansu how it is and then goes to the grave of her husband at the end of the book. That ending blew my mind. The grandson is only staring at the elders of his family wondering if there is another Hansu in the bunch for him to hate. Truly a great story and I wonder if this adaptation does it justice.

In the book its very beautifully written about Isaac . He is a great man . His love for Noah was great too. Sunja got a good decision with not becoming Hansu's mistress . He loved Sunja very much too

If you read book you will hate Hansu even more ,honestly I hate him so toxic ,even Noah suicide because of his greed. Isak was an angel . His love is so pure. Specially for Noah he was his father.

The best conversation between two men at the costume house. I hated Hansu until I knew about his story then regret Hansu and Sunja couldn’t become together yes it was not sweet times to live romantic and long life. I can’t feel the pain that people felt, any single part of it. So I’m grateful that I live in peaceful country. Btw this is the best historical show I’ve ever watched.👏👏👏

For me, I’m mostly hurt be the pain Sunja went through. I wanted her to be with Hansu because Isak saved her honour but she ended up going through a lot of pain for her whole life. I won’t give you spoilers but in the next seasons she goes through even worse than what she faced this season
